Great doctor. Did thorough exam on my eyes and provided good input for glasses. Nice and friendly staff. Very little wait time. Have appointment promptly.

Dr. Siddhapura, 10/10 would recommend her to anybody in the local area. Worth the drive to Williamsburg! If you are in Williamsburg/Yorktown/Newport News area. Make sure to give her a call. 💪🏻

I called OptiView Family Eyecare while trying to find a new eye-care provider after contacting several other offices. Unfortunately, the interaction ended before I could even determine whether my family’s insurance was accepted. The person answering the phone initially spoke so softly that I could barely hear her. I asked whether the office was accepting new patients and was told yes. When she asked what insurance we had, I said Medicaid. She explained that there are different Medicaid plans, and I clarified that ours is Sentara. She then told me I would need to email copies of all the insurance cards so the office could determine whether they could accept us. I asked whether I could simply provide the insurance information over the phone instead of going through an email process. I was frustrated by the extra step, but I did not raise my voice or yell. I even explained that I’m a mother of three running a business, had the insurance cards in my hand, and was simply asking whether we could keep the process straightforward by providing the information over the phone. She immediately accused me of “yelling and screaming” at her and continued speaking over me while I tried to explain that I was not yelling. I even had a sleeping toddler nearby, so I was intentionally keeping my voice down. She may not have liked my tone or my question, but describing it as yelling and screaming was completely inaccurate. At that point, I said, “Have a good day,” and ended the call. We will not be pursuing care with this office. A potential patient should be able to ask whether there is a simpler way to verify insurance without being spoken to or characterized this way.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new optometrist, and I am so glad I found Dr. Siddhapura and her team. After nearly 20 years of seeing the same eye doctor and wearing glasses and contacts, I was honestly hesitant to make a change. Looking back, I couldn’t have made a better decision. From the moment I walked through the door until the time I left, every single person I interacted with was exceptional. The team was warm, welcoming, organized, and genuinely kind. You can immediately tell they care about creating a great experience for their patients, and that level of professionalism and compassion is hard to find. Dr. Siddhapura was outstanding. She spent an incredible amount of time with me, answered every question I had without ever making me feel rushed, and took the time to explain my vision and prescription in a way that was easy to understand. I left feeling confident that I had received thorough, personalized care rather than just another routine eye exam. Finding a new healthcare provider can be stressful, especially after nearly two decades with the same doctor, but this practice exceeded every expectation I had. I truly can’t recommend Dr. Siddhapura and her incredible team enough. If you’re looking for an optometry practice that combines expertise with genuinely outstanding patient care, this is the place to go.

The staff was very courteous and efficient. My husband came in looking for a pair of clip-on sunglasses. The receptionist found the correct size for his glasses immediately. The price was fair. It saved our vacation. Thank you.
