I cannot say enough good things about A1A Family Eyecare! Every person who works there genuinely cares about your experience and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel supported, heard, and fully satisfied. The level of kindness, patience, and professionalism from the entire staff has been incredible. They have made such a positive impact on our family’s experience with vision therapy, and you can truly tell they care about their patients as people- not just appointments on a schedule. We are so grateful for the encouragement, attention to detail, and welcoming environment they provide every visit. I would highly recommend A1A Family Eyecare to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable team!

I had such a great experience today and had to share. From the moment I walked in for my eye exam, everything was seamless. The front staff was warm and welcoming, and the assistant was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable right away. But I really want to highlight Dr. William Gebhard — he was outstanding. He was incredibly professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense. I never felt rushed, and for the first time in a long time, I genuinely felt like my concerns were heard and taken seriously. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and wants to get things right, not just get you in and out. The experience didn’t stop there — the gentleman in the eyeglass area was just as great. Super easy to talk to, no pressure at all, and somehow managed to pull 4 pairs of glasses that were all spot-on for me. He also walked me through my insurance and made the whole process simple. Overall, just an all-around excellent experience. Dr. Gebhard and the entire team really set the bar high — highly recommend if you’re looking for thorough, thoughtful care.

This is by far the best eye doctor I have been to in Jacksonville. The staff is kind & attentive. The doctors are thorough and intentional with their conversations with you. They acknowledge your concerns and do not brush them off. Instead, they make you feel comfortable by educating on any conditions you might be experiencing. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience here! I appreciated how friendly the staff was and helpful. Horacia at the front was extremely helpful, kind and professional. She went over and beyond to not only where she helped see if they could fit me in to be seen by a doctor, after I accidentally came to the wrong appointment time, she also took the time to talk me through billing, explain the services. She was cheerful, thoughtful and provided useful information while guiding me through the processes of getting set up with the office and checking out. While she alone, would be more than enough of a reason I'd come back to this office - the doctors other healthcare staff were great as well. It was quick and efficient!

They would not perform the eye exam covered by insurance and would only offer one that required an additional $60+ out of pocket. Before I even checked in, I overheard other patients saying they were given the wrong prescription and were being overcharged. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.
