I feel a trusting relationship towards this Acuity Eye Group. And I feel like I'm in trustworthy hands with Dr. Zak, as well as the support staff. Eye care is a very sensitive and important thing in our lives. After having traveled all the way into Los Angeles for a few years after moving to the desert, it's really nice to feel comfortable having a trusted opthamalogical group much closer at hand.
Front admission desk, staff are much more friendly than they were four years ago. The medical assistance that perform the vision test and instill medicine have improved their techniques and their knowledge and our friendly and helpful. The technician that performs the retina scans will print your scan so you can take a copy home. Dr. Samuels has probably the best technique when doing intravitreal injections in the eyes. He does it well compared to many other retina specialist that I seen.
Not good with names but the cataract specialist there in palm desert did a great job went from basically blind couldn't see other than light and dark no objects or words just did my 3 week follow eye is healing great the riverside office says and I know first week a little scary but im seeing very good and healing very well the say by exam today! Just have to say highly recommended the staff as well! Happy to see agai! 🙏
Dr. Schultz and his assistant Liz were excellent. And Acuity ophthalmologist at another location referred me to Dr. Schultz. I was able to get right in immediately and have my problem corrected. This involves some minor surgery. I could not have asked for anything better.
My eye journey began in 2020 and concluded 2024. Starting with a retina detachment, ending with YAG post Cataract surgery. I went through the full circle of various procedures and stressful exams and shed many tears in between. Tears of fear, tears of relief. The doctors and staff are top notch and very compassionate. I always felt I was cared for, and even in the dark times the team was kind and empathetic. I now have good vision and have moved on.
