This is our 4th time getting glasses at the El Paseo location. Melissa goes out of her way to be helpful, all while juggling phones, Dr. Appointments and walk ins! I had my first eye exam at Aquity today, and found Dr. Han to be thorough and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the El Paseo Acuity office!
It was a real pleasure working with Dr. S. Tavassoli during my recent eye exam. She was very thorough, and knowledgeable on how to adjust my lenses to fit today's circumstance. The Optometrist was attentive to my needs along with patient during our telehealth appointment. Allison's detailed oriented skills are outstanding. She made me feel comfortable during the Tonometry and Retinal exam. Melissa assisted in my frame selection and checking out. I was impressed with their professionalism. The ordering process took 3wks. I am joyous to see clearly while reading small print. I definitely recommend this business.
My appointment took almost 2 hrs. I understand another location closed and they got swamped but, that doesn't mean you can't manage your appointment schedule. They wouldn't allow me to upgrade my glasses (I would pay what insurance didn't cover). I had to buy a separate pair (389.00). Having my own frames would cost me more! AND to top it off the frames I did pick the employee told me my choice was "To big for my face." THREE TIMES!!!! 4 to 6 weeks to get standard plain bifocal lens. I won't return after I pick up my glasses.
arrived ten minutes before my appointment time and was told someone called out so they were running behind and there was one person ahead of me, no worries I said, an hour later I was informed that the technician could not sign in and it would be another 20 minutes at least. Two other customers came and left because of the wait time. I asked if they would be ready in the 20 minutes she explained that they had tech support on the phone but could not guarantee it so I left. Keep in mind your employee acted very appropriately no issues there. So I made an appointment with your Indio location where the first time I used them they gave my glasses to another customer. Not the best track record. One other item please stop having your employees tell us that they will call when the glasses are in. Over the years I have purchased at least five pairs of glasses from you and never once has anyone called me that they are ready.. I hate to be negative but these are not exaggerations simply facts Stu Stryker
