I would love to give Dr granger 0 stars. I have previously seen him several years ago for about 6 yrs, never had issues. I recently returned to him with my 7 yr old daughter who also needed an exam and was very nervous. Front desk is and has always been very pleasant, sweet and professional. The moment Dr granger walked into the room I told him my daughter was nervous, it was her first time seeing getting an eye exam. He aggressively hollered at her to get in the chair and she calmly told him, my mom is going to go first. He continued to raise his voice and tell her not to tell him how to do his job and to get in the chair. He proceeded to get in my face and tell me that I’m the parent… I got up and we left his office. I am a nurse and have dealt with many physicians and have never encountered someone so ugly, rude and unprofessional. After reading his other reviews , he seems to act like this often and uses the phrase… don’t tell me how to do my job. No worries Dr granger, you won’t be collecting anymore money from me nor bully my child.

Had a great experience here. I hadn’t seen an eye doctor in 20 years and Dr Granger got me right. He was very personable and it was very evident that optometry is his passion. He kept getting excited during his explanations and took his time. I didn’t expect to enjoy an eye doctor visit but it was pretty cool. I walked away learning some stuff. Thanks for that! Highly recommend! Staff was also top notch. The lady that did my fitting was really nice.

Receptionist is very helpful and polite but Dr. Granger was defensive and rude. He does not listen or care if you can see and refuses to answer questions. He rudely shoved a folder at me with no explanation. What doctor doesn't tell you what type and care of contacts? Are they daily? He was offended bc I asked why I needed to change to something that I could not see with from what I had. I was struggling to drive, work, and there was a horrible glare near and far. He was offended that I wanted to take out and put in contacts myself. In my prior visit he did so with no warning and aggressively, which no optometrist had ever done in my 30+ years of wearing. He tried to take a contact out of an eye that had none after going on about having me wear only one contact. He asked me questions but did not listen to my responses. He basically did nothing helpful. I wish I could upload a pic of how dirty the exam room was.

Dr Grainger and his staff are my go to for eye health. As a diabetic it’s important for me to have a team of health care pros that keep me informed on the disease and its affect on my long term eye health. I like the fact that I never walk away wondering what’s going on, Dr Grainger will meticulously explain every aspect of good eye health for diabetes patients, as well as diet tips. They also communicate all findings to my internist so that he can use that information in his part of my treatment. To say that he goes the extra mile is an understatement. I’m grateful for Grainger Eye Studio and it’s wonderful staff.❤️

I have been going to Dr. Granger for about 4 years. He is very thorough and explains everything to you. He really cares. The ladies in the office are very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of glasses and have improved in getting more to choose from. I highly recommend Dr. Granger to take care of your eyes.
