I have never felt so disrespected by a receptionist at a medical office. The technician and the doctor were both kind, professional, and efficient, so this review is directed entirely at the front desk staff. When there was an issue locating my vision insurance, I remained calm and simply tried to understand what was happening. I explained that my husband had successfully used the exact same insurance just one week earlier, so I knew our coverage was active. I wasn't demanding anything special—I was only asking for clarification. My husband called the office to help explain the insurance information, but the receptionist placed him on hold for several minutes. After waiting for quite a while, I politely walked over and asked if she could please speak with him. Her response was, "What do I need to tell him?" I said, "Just explain to him what you just explained to me so he can understand what's going on." She replied, "I don't have anything to tell him," rolled her eyes at me, and only then picked up the phone. From that point on, she spoke to my husband in an incredibly rude and dismissive manner. After ending the call, she slammed the phone down and loudly complained to a coworker, saying, "I don't have time for this and keepgoing on and on," followed by more angry comments about us while I was standing only a few feet away and could clearly hear everything she was saying. I was shocked. At no point was I rude, argumentative, or demanding. I simply wanted to understand why my insurance couldn't be found. What made the experience even more upsetting was watching her immediately switch to a warm, friendly attitude with other patients, then return to treating me with obvious hostility. In the end, I was told not to pay because they would continue processing my insurance after all, which made it clear that this situation could have been handled professionally from the beginning. I left that office feeling humiliated and wondering why I had been treated so differently. I still don't have an explanation, but no patient should ever leave a medical office feeling degraded after asking a simple question about their insurance. The care I received from the technician and the doctor was excellent, but the receptionist's behavior completely ruined what otherwise would have been a good experience.

This has go to be the worst eye center I’ve ever had the chance of visiting. My mother’s appointment is always set at a certain time and here we are 3 hours later past closing time still waiting for the doctor. A little ridiculous tbh. Maybe we should figure out our patients charts and plan dates and times a little better. The doctor is fantastic but pace and organization is terrible.
Writing this on behalf of my mom who was a patient in their care.. I recently had cataract surgery and received outstanding care from start to finish. The nurses were kind, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. The doctor was excellent; patient, reassuring, and highly skilled. I especially appreciated the follow-up call from the surgical center after my procedure. It truly showed their level of care and professionalism. I’m very grateful for such a positive experience and would highly recommend them
Allow me to follow up on my wife's comment, I called the eye clinic to help resolve a simple issue with our healthcare card because the receptionist couldn’t read it. She put me on hold for (4) full minutes while doing absolutely nothing. My wife, who was standing right there, had to ask her to take me off hold. When she finally did, instead of handling the situation professionally, she hung up on me. Then, right in front of my wife and the other customers in the waiting room, she said, “I don’t have time for this bullshit.” Let me emphasize this, neither my wife nor I were rude in any way. We gave her zero attitude and zero disrespect we were both very polite and Friendly. Her behavior was completely unprovoked. That is unacceptable. Ignoring a caller on hold, hanging up on them, and then openly cursing about it in front of patients shows a total lack of professionalism and basic respect. If this is how the front desk operates, the clinic clearly doesn’t care about the people they’re supposed to be helping and judging by the responses to other people who left negative reviews (no responses) the owner of the clinic does not care or is too much of a coward to address the customers or the receptionist.. We will not be returning. Strongly recommend going elsewhere. I hate doing this to a local business, but who would support this type of company. I'd rather go to Walmart... at least we wouldn't be treated this way.
The atmosphere as you walk in is inviting. His staff is very professional. He is an awesome Doctor. Highly recommend him.
