I went in due to ongoing visual distortion and smearing in my left eye that was affecting my ability to see clearly, even with glasses. The visit felt very rushed. My glasses were briefly looked at, but no thorough evaluation was done, and dry eye was mentioned without any testing or examination to confirm it. I was given sample drops and told to “try them,” without explanation or follow-up plan. My concerns about difficulty seeing out of one eye at times did not feel fully addressed, and I left without clear answers or confidence in the assessment. For the cost of the visit, I expected a more thorough exam and clearer communication. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Also want to add that I asked them to dialate me and made an appointment. The day of the appointment I showed up early to a locked office that was locked 5 min past my appointment time. I just left. I was going to give up but I walked in and that’s when the above happened and I was dismissed and not rechecked like I asked. My vision is still messed up and I don’t understand why. He didn’t explain why. I paid cash, I don’t have insurance so I’m just screwed. Now I have to pay out of pocket again to be seen somewhere else while I wait to get vision insurance. I’m just really disappointed in the service I received here and since I paid in cash I’m out of luck. Idk if they don’t like to service people that look like me or what but I wouldn’t trust him with your eyes. I went to wal mart because I had a great experience years ago when I need my first pair of glasses. It was in another state but I gave them a try and I thought since it was outside of the city I’d get better service but nope. I don’t think they wanted to help me and I don’t know why. I seemed to be a bother to him and I felt it. But I asked for guidance and was advised that it’s not wrong to ask them to recheck my script or make sure nothing is off. He came back in after “checking” my glasses to tell me that the script was wrong and that’s not what he gave me. Then found out they were progressive and went and checked again. Talked to me about everything but the issue in my left eye that brought me in smh. Just a waste of my money when I’m on one income and really didn’t have it to waste. ETA- Earlier this month I went to Costco vision and I found out that the problem I’m having in my left eye is a leak possible due to stress or caffeine but I feel like it’s stress. So this doctor dismissed me. Ignored my concerns. Took my cash and did not help me. If I listened to him I would not have found out about this problem and have it being monitored now so I know what to do. I do not recommend this office at all. Go anywhere else.

Terrible place, went to the one attached to Wal-Mart at 3009/I-35. To get another copy is ridiculous. They can't email like other doctors, you have to go on person plus they charge you $5 for another cause it has to be original,,,,then you wait 30-45 minutes until doctors free to sign the new one😡never again

I've changed my insurance, just to be seen by Dr Abraham, he is one of the best optometrist.

My daughter tore her "trial contact" while she was at school, I called to see if I could pick up another - she saw the doctor 3 weeks ago. Whoever answered the phone said that I could for $35, but my daughter had to be with me. I thought $35 was a bit high for one contact, but also thought that it was illegal for samples to be sold! So, I called back and asked if she could please email the rx so I could try to get the contacts today. She told me she could only hand deliver or send to whoever was filling the rx... "its against hipaa for her to send it electronically." I told her this was just crazy because my optometrist emailed me a copy of my rx AND also doesn't charge for sample contacts! I've attached the info I found from Google. We've seen them for the last time.

The Doctor was nice and helpful. However his staff is highly unprofessional. They could not locate my file even though we had just went 3 months prior. Our file was in the audit files stating they never received payment for previous visit when I contacted insurance they advised that they did in fact receive payment for previous visit. Furthermore my insurance was not run for this current visit because they said insurance only covers one eye exam per year, i guess they were just was going off what they think is right.I contacted insurance and was advised they in fact do cover 2 visits per year. Office stated they will look into it and would mail me a check instead of handling the refund right away .This is pure laziness on staff and not checking with insurance for coverage prior to payment needed. I would highly recommend that you don't seek service here.
