I booked my appointment online. Was taken care of right at the appointment time with a bunch of very kind and knowledgeable professionals. The whole process was very streamlined, smooth and painless. I recommend them for Eye exams, and eyeglasses
Dr does not wash his hands nor wear gloves. He puts in eye drops and touches your face and eyes. Unsanitary. They don’t explain what they should be prior but make sure to call you for insurance verification prior to visit. Add on as much as they can also. Never again.
Very thankful for their availability on the weekends and taking walk in appointments. Doctor and staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help.
Doctor did not clean eye exam equipment, nor did he wash his hands when I arrived in exam room either time. I had to ask for equipment to be cleaned. Even though my husband and I had back-to-back appointments, Dr. Burkhart saw another patient between us and made me wait 30 minutes to be seen after seeing my husband after his eyes were dilated and he returned to the exam room with another patient even though I was ready to be seen. Our first appointment had to be rescheduled because the initial visit was not explained properly when scheduled. The insurance does not cover the 'retinal picture' which is required for a new patient. So if you do not want to pay $49, you are required to have your eyes dilated. As we were not prepared to have that done that day, we had to reschedule for another day. When making an appointment, these things should be explained; thoroughly. I did not feel confident with most of the visit on 7/24/2025.
