Someone else recommended Berks Eye Physicians and Surgeons Ltd to me and Im glad I went. Dr. Calder and his entire staff treated me not only professionally but quite happily also. As an artist, I was quite frightened by the idea of cataract surgery but Dr. Calder and the nurses reassured me that all would be fast and fine. They did not disappoint. My eyes are seein brighter these days! It was a good decision. I now recommend Berks eye to all my friends. Their opticians are great also. The sell glasses that have hearing aids and I may just try them too. I was so inspired by Dr. Calder that I made a mobile. The title is, The Ayes Have It!

I've wanted to write this review almost a year ago. Roughly a year ago I had a complex cataract surgery performed by Dr. Kasey Pierson and could not have been more pleased. Dr. Pierson was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable and confident through the whole procedure from my initial visit to the very end. He was kind and confident and his confidence rubbed off on me and made the experience a breeze. The surgery was a fantastic success and I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and expertise. The entire staff at Berks Eye Physicians and Surgeons were all very polite and professional and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for their eye-care needs. Two thumbs up and a big Thank-You to the whole team. Sincerely and Respectfully. 👍👍🙂
I knew that I'd likely need a belphoplasty procedure at some point. Just not yet, so I thought. I suffered a terrible dog bite to my eye lid when I was 3, leaving the lid irregular. I was always self-conscious but more so as I aged. I finally decided to do something about it and visited a local plastic surgeon. Yes, she could fix my eyes, but it would be all out of pocket. Her office referred me to Dr Nicholas. Five stars are not enough for Dr. Nicholas, MD! Facing eye surgery can be incredibly nerve-wracking, but Dr Nicholas's warm bedside manner, excellent communication made all the difference. Dr Nicholas took the time to map out my treatment options clearly without any pressure, treating me with the utmost patience and respect. Dr Nicholas and staff were very flexible and willing to work with my schedule, which I admit was challenging. His entire medical staff and front desk team were efficient, welcoming, and organized. My recovery from upper eye belphoplasty has been flawless, and the results are stunning.
I'm incredibly pleased with my experience and outcome with cataract surgery at Berks Eye and Dr. Izzo. The office staff was efficient and pleasant. There are a lot of steps in these appointments, but I felt everything was explained well. As a person who has worn glasses since age 5, I find my corrected vision stunning with the outcome of 20/20. As discussed with Dr. Izzo, I do need readers for close up vision, but the options and outcome were well-explained to me. I highly recommend Dr. Izzo and the practice.
Complete humiliation, arrived for an appointment that was scheduled and unscheduled without notice. I was informed that I had an outstanding balance, which I was previously unaware of. As soon as I became aware of it, I paid the balance in full immediately. After doing so, I was told that I would be able to schedule an appointment again. However, when I attempted to schedule, I was then told that I am no longer allowed to return as a patient. This was unexpected and confusing, especially after being told the issue had been resolved. Additionally, during my visit, I could clearly hear staff members speaking about me in a loud and unprofessional manner within earshot of others. This was extremely uncomfortable and felt humiliating. I believe all clients deserve to be treated with respect and spoken about privately. That staff needs maintain a higher level of professionalism and discretion when discussing clients. Why lie to me from the start of the conversation knowing I was never going to be about to come back. Had to speak to three different ladies who were so unprofessional including billing. Please do better!!
