Altru 1300 Columbia

I called Doc Zak's in November 2025 to make an appointment after my GP found a growth on my Thyroid. The soonest he could see me was April 2026. The wait was long, but I needed an Endo Doc. I called today 4/6 to find out how I could get my medical records to their office since Harvey Clinic is not in the same network. I am in possession of all my records and imaging. I was told that they have no clue how to het my records to them and they have no CD reader. I asked if they could use SDCARD or USB. I felt like I could feel Kate (the Doc's nurse) shrug. "Well this will only be a one time appointment Sir. Doctor Zak is retiring in May." I asked if they had another Endo there and she said no, go to Fargo. I swear... They could have told me sooner. What piss poor customer service! ---------------- Addendum --------------- I read their response. I called the number they left. They can do nothing for me. They told the good Doctor's Manager about my situation. It's not their fault! Well, since you good folks, neighbors don't have an Endo anymore... How about you help me find one and expedite a different appointment? - THAT'S SOMETHING YOU COULD DO!

I really like the folks who work for Altru because they treat me like I actually matter, and like I'm more than just words on a screen or page. I would definitely recommend almost every single medical professional I have seen in the entire system because literally only one doctor has so far not been courteous or caring. Otherwise, premium care!

The doctor i seen gave my name out to another person not affiliated whit altru. I was thinking about suing for breaking the confidentiality agreement HIPAA violation federal law that's in place so doctors can't discuss patients with other people and other doctors that aren't affiliated with their cases. Really bad doctors work there. I would avoid this place and just go to fargo to Sanford hospital. At least they are professional.

People are very helpful. Went to get my power chair's annual service. Took less time than originally estimated. Friendly staff remember your name.

I came out of this place with a back spasm. Because a doctor wouldn't take me off the wrong meds. Medical kidnap and I think have PTSD from it I have nightmares of them kidnapping again.they made my problems worse.
