I had a great experience thanks to Valeria Orozco. She was incredibly helpful from start to finish—very knowledgeable, well-spoken, and genuinely kind. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with my choices. Her positive attitude and professionalism really stood out. You can tell she truly cares about helping customers, not just making a sale. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit.

Customer service here at this office needs help with proper social interactions with customers, from the front desks clerk to the examiners - optometrist. The front desk clerk took me through so many questions related to my insurance, to finally tell me she had my insurance located in their system, in which I knew it was already there. The optometrists doctors I encountered were not friendly and I uncomfortable to communicate with. I was happy and pleasant when I went in, but I left agitated and disappointed with the customer service. I will continue to travel to Kendall where the staff is pleasant and more helpful. It must be a Homestead culture I have to get use too.

Dr Waris & Valeria are amazing. So kind & compassionate. Valeria is so sweet & helpful. Dr Waris is my favorite & I always make sure she's there firmy appointment. Kudos to these too. Thank you both so much. Bliss McCloskey 💙

Homestead location gets mixed reviews. Positive first. Easy to make appointments & weekend options are great. The Dr was thorough & caring. The lady that checked me in April 4th was so sweet & helpful. The girl who did the contact lens training was patient & informative. Now for the negative. After my exam I was told I would be called when contacts came in. 3 weeks went by...nothing. So I called & they said they were ready for pick up. I make arrangements but when I arrived they would not release them to me without a training class so I had to schedule a day to come back. It was an inconvenience but mistakes happen. What should not happen is a rude receptionist. The young thin girl at check in with the glasses & black hair should not be in customer service. Both times I dealt with her she didn't smile at all, didn't respond to any hello or thank you's. Spoke like she was annoyed to be there & even tossed my ID on the counter even tho I had my hand out to reach for it. I am naturally polite so there was no reason for this behavior. Overall the service was pretty good.

He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me find exactly what I needed without making me feel pressured.
