Less than four months after purchasing glasses the lens fell out of a pair and chipped when it hit the floor in a store. Now the local Dothan store, where they were purchased, is refusing to replace it. They have acknowledged to their 800 customer service number that the screws backed out of the frames allowing the lens to fall out, and went so far as to say they will order new frames, but will not replace the broken lens. Mind you, the broken lens was a result of the defective frames. Make it make sense?! The worker at the store put the chipped lens back in the frame and said everything was tight and good to go (except the big chip in the lens). Less than 45 minutes later the lens fell out in the car while riding as a passenger. Based on my experience thus far with this store and company, RUN! Do not waste your money here. They do not stand behind their products if you have a problem. I purchased both pair 10/13/25, and the manager said only one pair was covered under warranty. She stated the pair that has the issue was paid under my insurance. What does that even have to do with anything?? You were paid for products, and as a business, you stand behind what you sell, especially when damage is caused due to a defect. I have escalated this to their customer service 800 management, but am not holding out much hope for a satisfactory resolution. If they do the right thing I will update this review.

The eye exam took a few hours but everyone took their time with me and made sure I got the correct prescription. I didn't feel rushed like I have felt with different doctors. Even though it took longer than I thought it should it was very much worth it in the end. I picked up my glasses today and they were perfect. I didn't realize how bad by eyes have become until I got the correct from America's best. My wife had the same experience and is very pleased with her glasses. This will be my place to get glasses every year in the future. Thanks for doing a quality job. Much appreciated
We scheduled our first appointment for midday. When we got to our appointment, the receptionist told us that the system had been down all morning and it was at least a three hour wait. I understand they could not help that their system was down, however, they could’ve called us and informed us of this and given us the option to reschedule by phone before we drove 45 minutes for nothing. At that time, we rescheduled for two weeks out and made the appointment for 4 PM. We went to that appointment And when we got there, there were seven people ahead of us waiting to see the doctor. Finally, an hour later we get called back for the pre-check At the same time, a woman who had been waiting over two hours was finally being called back by the doctor. I asked the employee doing the pre-check what kind of wait time we were looking at and she said It was common to wait two hours or more. With six people still ahead of us and having already been there an hour I canceled and went to Walmart. I feel like I should send America’s Best a bill for the fuel and the time that I’ve spent on nothing. They overbook entirely too much, and expect you to wait hours after your appointment time to finally be seen however, if you are five or 10 minutes late, they will cancel your appointment on you. People were literally taking naps in the lobby, they should at least provide sofas instead of those hard plastic uncomfortable chairs. So if you value your time go with another provider, if you don’t mind spending all day on one appointment then go for it.
BEST EVER OPTOMETRIST: I went to America's Best (Dothan, AL) today for an eye exam. Dr Jon Jenkins got my vision dialed in so crisp and clear. I gasped when the last lenses were turned over. I haven't seen this clear in so long! My husband got his exam as well. We drove back to Enterprise just amazed at everything we could see so clearly! America's Best in Dothan 🦉 Dr. Jon Jenkins
Overall not bad for price! Yes it takes forever my appointment was at 2:30 didn’t get seen to almost 3:45 but still worth it! Doritos is very nice!
