EDIT: I had a much better experience today (5/23/2026, around 12:30pm), so I raised my rating from 1 to 3 stars. The guy at the counter was very polite, & the tech lady I saw was super nice & made me feel comfortable. There was a slight scheduling issue, but that was the online system. I can't give a higher rating today, due to my previous negative experience. But if America's Best customer service responds to my email and addresses my concerns, I may change my rating again. *** I've been going to this location for a few years now, and have never had a problem until today. I felt completely dismissed by the lady I spoke to about my contact lenses. I got no instructions on how to insert & remove them, & there was no info about needing a case or solution(s), or anything, other than to wear them for a week and come back. I know you're busy, which is why I called the day before (5/15/26 @ 4:24pm) to ask if I needed an appt for that. The girl I talked to then was very nice & assured me that I did NOT. So I was surprised to hear that they wouldn't be able to do that for me today. Moreover, a third lady I spoke to the other day when I was ordering my contacts, told me that the soft lenses are "completely different" than the hard ones I wore over 20 years ago, so I would definitely want them to give me the demonstration. However, the lady who dismissed me today said, "it's the same thing". So which is it? Either way, I should not be given any medical device without first having been given proper instructions on how to use them & care for them. I know this may seem like a small thing to some people, but I am autistic, and it's hard for me to leave my house in the first place. On top of that, I panic when rules are not followed, and even more so, if I don't have a clear idea of what they even are. I had a complete meltdown over this! Laugh if you want, but it's not funny to the person experiencing it. I would've appreciated just 5-10 minutes of someone's time to give me the information and show me what to do. Unfortunately, my neurodivergent brain also has delayed processing, so I couldn't stand up for myself at that time. But I'm back home now & I'm very upset about how I was treated. I did not tell anyone there that I'm autistic, but it shouldn't matter. I'm paying money, just like everyone else, & I deserve to be treated with respect!

My appointment was at 10:40, arrived at 10:35. 3 people that arrived after me were seen before me, I got into my pre screen with Carol at 11:20. She was extremely friendly and nice. Saw Dr. Choy around 11:50. He was also friendly and explained everything well. After my exam, I looked at glasses until 12:30 until I was called up. I didn’t catch her name, but she was also friendly and shocked that I had been there for 2 hours. The team there is very friendly, I just wish they could get their appointment scheduler fixed. I was in the building for over 2 hours but only being seen by someone for 20 minutes. It was going to be a one star review but I liked the people a lot. I overheard the staff saying Friday and Saturday were their busiest days, so I probably would not schedule on either of those days.
New glasses ready in one week, fast & friendly through the entire process. Love my new Oakley progressive / transition glasses. Melissa was amazing when she helped me to learn how to see through these new glasses with progressive lenses...
Appointment for 12:50 I’m sitting here almost a hour later. Absolutely unacceptable! If I showed up a hour late for my appointment I’m sure they would have no problem telling me to kick rocks yet my time = NOTHING! Burn me once shame on you….
I had a great first time visit. I needed a new set of glasses. My son had recently tried this place, had a great visit, and loved his frames. So I decided to check them out as well. I waited around 20 min for my name to be called. I moved a couple of rooms then saw the optometrist. He was super nice and understanding re the issue with prior experiences. He took his time and was very thorough. It was an amazing difference! Almost instantly I could tell this was going to be the correct prescription. Also it is the first time I was introduced to progressive lenses. The Dr took the time to explain the lenses and why they are the best solution. I work a ft job that involves using multiple screens. I had assistance picking out new frames from other patrons as well as staff. I also splurged and got a pair of prescription sunglasses for driving. I love the selection of frames and styles. And of course I make them look good. lol Both sets of glasses came in earlier than anticipated. I had a small wait when picking up but the place was very busy this morning. I had a fun time with the assistant that made sure my prescription was correct and they fit. I had a great experience. My glasses look great. And my optometrist was amazing!
