America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I am writing this to warn other families about the shocking treatment we received at this location. I brought my husband in for an eye exam, walking back with him alongside our three-year-old toddler. Without warning or a word, an employee named Carmen slammed the examination room door directly in my face and my toddler's face. It was incredibly rude and physically unsafe.It got worse after the exam. While looking at glasses, I caught Carmen passing a sticky note to a coworker stating that she and I had "bumped heads." The coworker panicked when they saw me reading it and tried to fake a conversation about someone else.Carmen is hostile, toxic, and completely unprofessional. She does not represent this company well. Management needs to address her behavior immediately. We will never step foot in this establishment again.

Will NEVER go to this location again. I had an appt for 5:50pm. I was informed I missed my 5:30 apt. I showed the text that clearly stated 5:50. the employee went to the other employee. She returned and said I had been called about the rescheduled appt. I was told the doctor had an emergency and no appointments were being taken after 5:30 pm. this sounds like a lie. It's my belief that the doctor just wanted to leave early. I never received a call nir text. The last text I received confirmed my 5:50 p.m. appointment. I don't know what is going on with America's Best, but it's not looking good. Before I moved I had used in America's Best location in Long Beach for many years and never had an issue. I then tried one near my mom's house in Mission Viejo and the doctor was completely weird. Now I go to this location, which is the closest to my house. Since I've already paid for 3 year plan, ill be trying a different location. Wish me luck

When I went for my eye exam every single person in the office had very good customer service and was very professional. However, after almost a month of not receiving my glasses I contacted them twice and asked if my glasses were in. The second time I called, which was almost 4 weeks after my exam. They said they were just shipped and it should be a few days. I replied, why is it taking so long. She replied its because of the holidays. I took my exam way before the holidays. Lol. The excuse was unnecessary and untruthful. She should have just apologized for the delay. Talking about not taking accountability. I most definitely will not be going here for my next exam. I absolutely hate when people make unnecessary excuses like you are too stupid to know they are lying. To date, I still have not received my glasses.

I do not recommend going here, I was charged double for an eye exam by the worker Fabiola. Store location lingered around for three weeks to resolve the problem with the transactions that they have yet to hendle! Thanks for pocketing $75 Fabiola.!! Definitely will not be coming back to this location!!.

I went to this location for an exam for contacts and glasses. Jenny was amazing at explaining my benefits and getting me rescheduled when I had an insurance issue. After my exam, I waited a long time at the counter before anyone acknowledged me. Maria eventually came over when she noticed I was taking out my trial contacts to leave and I told her I just wanted my prescriptions. She wasn't pleasant and only gave me my prescription for glasses. I had to come back and Jenny apologized and helped me once again get everything together. It was a less than great experience... My unsolicited advice: hold on to Jenny with everything y'all have because she's solely holding down customer service.
