1st time visitor at an America's Best for an eye exam PROS: *The staff was friendly and professional *They have a decent amount of frames to select from for men and women. *Setting my appointment and filling out all of my information and paperwork online was easy CONS: *Although I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, it still took about 30-40 minutes to check-in, due to the receptionist having an extremely hard time logging into my insurance portal. *It took another 15-20 min to go in the back to do the initial screening that's done before the main eye exam *Another 15-20 minutes passed before seeing the doctor. I was instructed to go up front to look at frames while I waited. *I was unaware that the doctor would be a tele-visit and not in person. But, the technical setup seemed adequate enough and there was a technician present assisting the doctor. *I didn't find any frames that suited my style and taste. I had to go elsewhere for that. *Checking out was easy but there was no urgency. The lady was leisurely strolling getting my papers to finalize my appointment and prescription. (Maybe I was just annoyed with how long I was there) *Overall, I was there 2.5 hours WITH having an appointment, not as a walk-in. Therefore, the experience was just okay.

I came in today for a routine eye exam. Everyone has always been very nice here. So, today was no different with the friendly staff. However, the doctor was extremely rude. I walked in the exam room and could tell right away that she did not want to be there. I tried to make small talk and replied that I bet she was tired and ready to go home.With no response, I said how much longer do you have? She said, 6:30 if she was lucky. I stated, Oh, you still have quite a bit. Her response was, "I don't make the hours"! So, I stopped trying to talk to her. During the eye exam she continously switched the visual screen between 1 or 2 without giving me time to actual see which one was better. Then said, I was contradicting myself. Well, slow down so I can actually see the screen and make a decision. (Yes, I told her that ). She did slow down with the remainder of the exam. I have visited here many times through the years and always left there, happy until today. I just hope my glasses have the correct prescription based on being so rushed in my decisions. Not sure if I will return in the future.

Came here on time for a scheduled appointment to be told upon arrival that the doctors are running an hour behind and I will not be able to be seen. I’m not usually one to complain, as I’ve worked in the service industry my entire life, but getting off work early to drive to a scheduled appointment and being told upon arrival that they can’t see you, not only at your appointment time, but not at all, is unacceptable. Next time, be courteous of other people’s time and gas and give them a call when you know you are behind. I’ll be going elsewhere.

The staff was very helpful throughout the whole process. Anna went the extra mile to explain the warranty on my glasses. I've used other places and this Americs Best lived up to their name

The he store is ample and very clean with large selection of glasses or lenses. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. Been a customer over 8 years and will always return to them due to the value and service that they offer.
