If I could give no stars I would because I had the worst experience here. The doctor mumbled through my entire appointment, making it difficult to understand what he was saying, and his attitude came across as sarcastic and rude. I informed him that I am a Type 1 diabetic, and he told me I had “bleeders” in both eyes and that I would eventually go blind. He told me to get checked at Eye Associates ASAP and to keep my original appointment because they would never get me in any sooner. What shocked me most was how little explanation I was given. Instead of taking the time to discuss what he was seeing or answer my questions, I felt rushed out of the appointment. Being told you could lose your vision is life-changing news, and it should be handled with care, professionalism, and compassion. I immediately called Eye Associates to make what I believed was an emergency appointment. They got me in 3 days later and after examining my eyes, they told me they did not see any bleeding and asked who I had seen because they were not finding what I had been told was there. Which was a waste of my time, their time & I had to take off work and use my PTO that is for emergencies. To make matters worse, the office then wanted to charge me around $300 for glasses. I left, went to Eyemart Express instead, and got glasses for about $100. This experience caused me a tremendous amount of unnecessary fear and stress. Being told you have bleeding in both eyes and could go blind is not something a patient forgets. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to go elsewhere and not waste your time or money. Very unprofessional.

After four years of giving Eyeglass World the benefit of the doubt, today was the absolute last straw. My wife has been coming here since 2020, and virtually every visit has been a nightmare of poor service, medical negligence, and incompetence. Over the years, we have dealt with: Hostile Staff & Unhygienic Doctors: Employees have been rude and shouted at my wife in the store unprovoked. On a past visit, the optometrist literally coughed directly on her during an exam and got her sick. Repeated Prescription & Fitting Errors: In 2022, they had to redo her prescription two or three times because she couldn't see out of her new lenses—all because they arbitrarily left off the astigmatism correction that has always been in her script. On another occasion, they refused to remake a pair after completely failing to place her pupillary distance (PD) correctly. Today crossed the line from incompetence into direct property damage and unacceptable customer treatment: My wife brought her glasses in for a simple nose pad replacement and arm adjustment. The technician slipped with a screwdriver and gouged a deep scratch across the lens, rendering her high-prescription glasses completely unusable. When my wife brought this up, the store manager just stared at her like she was the problem and claimed there was "nothing they can do." Only after my wife strongly insisted that they take accountability did the manager reluctantly claim she would call her on Monday. Given this manager’s history of nasty behavior toward customers, we have zero expectation that she will actually follow through. My wife has a very high prescription and literally cannot drive or function without her glasses. We do not have vision insurance to cover a new pair out-of-pocket for damage caused entirely by their technician. Leaving a customer legally blind over a weekend because your employee destroyed her essential medical device—and then treating her like an inconvenience—is appalling. Avoid this location at all costs.

I can tell the store was busy. Cynthia had acknowledged everyone entering and updating all of the waiting. I didn't mind waiting, but they were patient with every customers' needs. Cynthia took care of ordering my contacts and fixing my glasses from slipping down my face. She was very professional and nice. She let me know that if I have anymore problems with my glasses, to bring them back in. Thank you, Cynthia!

Jeanette the sales associate was so nice and helpful! I was very indecisive as to what pair of frames to choose and she walked through all the glasses with me, gave her professional opinion on how they looked on me based on the sizing and space of the lenses. She was so patient and she was such a pleasure to be around. She was so great! I’d choose her anytime I go. She doesn’t try and scam you to make a sale, she genuinely tries her best to aid in however you will be using the frames or contacts to ensure you get the most for your money!

This was a very frustrating experience overall. I initially went in for a new pair of glasses because my old ones were scratched. The new glasses were ready quickly, but from the start something felt off. I was told it would take time to adjust to them, so I wore them for about a week. Instead of improving, they gave me headaches and my vision was noticeably worse than with my old glasses. When I went back, they suggested the issue was because I’m 42 and now need reading glasses. That didn’t make much sense to me since I had no issues reading with my previous prescription. After a follow-up exam, they said my prescription changed since last I saw them and gave me a new prescription. At the same time, I was also ordering contact lenses. The first set of contacts they ordered was the wrong prescription as well. To their credit, they corrected both the glasses and contact lens prescriptions quickly and at no charge. The updated glasses are now great. The contact lens process, however, continued to be problematic. The replacement lenses weren’t a good fit, which I understand can happen, so I went in for another follow-up. I was told I didn’t need to stop at the front desk because they would order the trial lenses and call me when they arrived. After waiting two weeks without hearing anything, I called to check on the order since the previous lenses had arrived within about a week. The first person I spoke with said they had no record of any order being placed and would look into it and call me back. About 20 minutes later, I received a “thank you for your purchase” email, which made it seem like the order may not have actually been submitted until after my call. I never heard back so I called again, another employee told me the order had already been in the system since my last visit and that it could take 3–4 weeks to arrive. This is 3-4x the time it took for the first 2 trial lenses to arrive I’ve tried to be patient throughout this process, but there were simply too many mistakes, conflicting answers, and unnecessary delays for something that should have been straightforward. I can’t recommend this place based on my experience.
