I was late to my appointment. I had 20 minutes still in my scheduled visit. I walk-in and noticed one customer looking for a frame. No one in the front desk but a staff members walked in the back saw me but said nothing. After 5 minutes someone came out I was sitting at a desk and she walked over to her I guess desk she didn’t say please sit here. Said from a far can I help you. I proceeded to say that I had an appointment at 1:00 - 2:00 but I’m late. She responded with, yes, you walked in but didn’t get checked in. I told that no one was in the front. She insisted that I had to have checked in to let them know that I was there. So, I said I understand that I’m late and again no one was up front. I asked her if she could check for the next available appointment. She stated to walk away and ask me to follow her into her office and found a 3:30 appointment and I took it. After I left I get a call telling me that the systems were down and that the order of the glasses wouldn’t going to be place the same day as they were experiencing system problems. At that point to me that was a sign that I made the decision to cancel all together. Firstly, a business should always have someone manning the front desk. Secondly, the customer shouldn’t feel as if they are being challenged. Bad customer service!

We moved from TN to PA and this was the closest to us. We have had nothing but great service EVERY time we go! The eye doctor was so professional and she answered all my questions. Taylor was so friendly, knowledgeable and helped me so much with choosing glasses that fit my face and look nice! Also, Thomas keeps this store running smooth and acknowledges every person that comes through the doors! He is so friendly as well!! We will continue going to this location!!
One star is dedicated to the doctor. My experience here was horrible. It left a sour taste in my mouth. The assistant manager was very rude to his employee that was assisting me when she was trying to look for my chart and he had my chart the whole time after my exam as he’s helping other people at the same time which didn’t make sense if he was helping other people and then gave his employee attitude saying “here, take it” with attitude. Also, when I wanted to confirm if I can get my trial pair of contacts he instantly walked over asking what’s going on? I explained & he instantly gave attitude saying “if we have a trial pair here we would’ve given them to you”. I did ask him to check if they have the trial pair but he proceeded to be nasty. So I asked for the manager above him. Overall the experience was very unprofessional and not the way people should be treated AT ALL and this all resonates with previous reviews at this location.
Thomas and workers at store are amazing. My son always picked out my new frames and he sadly died. They rallied around me and helped me pick out new frames. Thomas has gone above and beyond in the past. Our new puppy go to a hold of my glasses and broke them apart. I went in and talked to Thomas and he said sadly that they were discontinued. I was near tears and Thomas said he would go online to see if he could find them. He called me next day and said he found a store in NY and they were shipping them to him. I can't say enough good things about the store. New frames below.
Rude staff won’t even read you you prescription when you need it. Cold to patients. Phillipsburg store 1000 times better - the staff is 1000 times better. This store needs out of business or new management.
