WARNING — PLEASE READ BEFORE HAVING YOUR LENSES REPLACED I am posting this review to document my experience and to make other customers aware of what happened. I purchased a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses with gradient lenses for $230. I subsequently paid an additional $220 to have prescription lenses installed in the frames. When I received the completed glasses, I discovered that the original Ray-Ban gradient lenses had been removed and were not returned to me. When I questioned the employee about the original lenses, I was told that their policy is that when they replace a customer's lenses with prescription lenses, the original lenses are not returned to the customer. This was extremely concerning to me because I had purchased and paid for those original lenses. I was not informed before authorizing the prescription-lens work that the original lenses would be retained, nor did I knowingly agree to surrender them. My position is that a customer's property should not be retained without the customer's knowledge and consent. At a minimum, I believe this policy should be clearly disclosed before any work is performed, allowing the customer to make an informed decision. The original lenses had value, and I believe I should either have received them back or been appropriately compensated for them. I am also disappointed with the way my concerns were handled when I attempted to resolve the issue. Rather than receiving a straightforward explanation and resolution, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that I was spoken to in a patronizing manner. I am sharing this experience so that potential customers can ask about this policy before authorizing any lens replacement. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience or is familiar with the laws or consumer protections applicable to this situation. I am requesting the return of my original lenses or fair compensation for the property that was retained.

I stopped by America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses to try on Pair Eyewear frames for new glasses. Even though I was just there to try on frames and didn’t purchase in-store, the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and very helpful—which I truly appreciated. The storefront is conveniently located, though parking was a bit of a challenge. The business is right next to a gym, and it must have been peak workout time because I had to circle the lot several times to find a spot. It might help to have a few parking spaces labeled for America’s Best, but I imagine parking depends heavily on the time of day. That said, I absolutely love my new frames. I ordered them online and had them shipped to me, and I’m so excited to play with all the different covers and attachments to match my daily wardrobe. Overall, a great experience and a friendly team—I’d definitely recommend stopping in.
Great customer service by Dr. Kim-Dan Nguyen. Always smiling, always eager to help. It was easy to interact with him. As far as his staff, all but Ms. La Quincia had the proper customer-centric attitude and were all eager to help and represented this clinic well. Ms. La Quincia though could benefit from some mentoring and coaching so she too can eventually represent this clinic well.
What a great visit! My son needed to get his annual checkup so we chose this Amarica’s Best location. The doctor was friendly, had great bedside manner, and efficient. He took his time when my son needed him to repeat his questions, slowing down enough for him to understand. Everyone we dealt with from start to finish made the visit a success.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This location of America’s Best apparently hates moms and families. My wife had to circle the huge parking lot several times looking for a spot that was overtaken by customers of cosmic air and the gym, had to wake up my 4 year who fell asleep on the way, and walk in with him, and my 5 and 7 year old from a very far parking spot. She got inside at 5:57 PM for a 5:50 PM appointment. 7 minutes late, not ideal, but not unreasonable given the situation. The front desk worker wouldn’t even make eye contact with my wife when she walked in and seemed bothered that she was there. When my wife said she had an appointment she said that she didn’t think she could be seen. The other workers then walked to the back to talk to the doctor and came back saying that the doctor wouldn’t see any more patients. My wife was confused because there was no communication about a cancellation if late or about a restriction on when the doctor was supposed to leave for the day. I arrived as she was walking out of the office and asked what was going on. When I went inside, I was told that it was the doctor’s discretion if they want to cancel or not. I gave them half of a piece of mind for treating my wife this way and left it at that. So if you have ever been late to an appointment because you have to bring your kids with you or because their parking lot is huge and full or for any normal human reason, you might get completely screwed out of an appointment by some jerk doctor and their employees.
