America’s Best Optometrist

My recent experience at the America's best Vallejo California location was absolutely wonderful! Employee- Misty really went the extra mile to assist me. She was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, helped me with insurance information that I asked for, and suggested a few accessories that would well work for me. In a time where we can go anywhere to get eyeglasses I must say that my experience at the Vallejo store with Misty assisting me made the whole experience absolutely great! Linda M.

I had a disappointing experience at this America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses location. I previously went to the Stockton location, where I received an eye exam and two pairs of prescription glasses for the advertised $99 deal with no problems. After I lost my glasses, I came to this location expecting the same offer. Instead, I was initially quoted around $200 and was encouraged to add different lenses and other upgrades. I clearly explained that I only wanted the basic advertised package and didn’t want any extras. The price then dropped to around $150, and only after I insisted on getting the basic package did it finally come down to about $100. The pricing felt inconsistent and confusing. Customers shouldn’t have to repeatedly decline upgrades or negotiate just to receive the advertised deal. I hope this location is more transparent about pricing so other customers don’t have the same experience. I just.

I just had a great experience at the Vallejo, Ca location. They were able to get me in with an appointment within a week of calling. When I got there, the staff and the manager Rachel were all super friendly and the store was bright and welcoming. It happened to be on Halloween, and the whole crew was dressed up! The doctor that did my exam was thorough and explained everything to me. They also had a really good selection of frames! I needed 3 pairs of glasses, my distance progressives, computer and distance sunglasses. So I definitely needed options. I was able to find 3 super cute pairs of frames. Rachel helped me through the process and when I asked for opinions, she was very helpful and gave them to me. I will definitely go back again when I need to update my prescription and frames.

Misty and the AA woman with the long braids (really wish i knew her name)were very helpful. Misty sold me my new glasses and I love them. One pair came in with a chipped frame(small chip but still noticeable). The lady with the braids replaced the frames right then and there. I’ve done two eye exams with the doctor here and he’s alway quick, efficient, and friendly. I’m very happy with the my experience every time i come to this location.

From reception, technition to doctor everyone were super thorough, professional and kind. Everyone knew what they were doing. I loved how the doctor showed me the difference of how my old prescription looked compared to my new one. It got me excited to finally see more clearly. I recommended America's Best to my son and anyone else who Iooking for great service and clean clinic .
