I had the most wonderful experience at this America’s Best location. I was having some issues with my glasses and came into the store for help. I was immediately welcomed and Felipe offered to assist me. He was so kind, had a calming demeanor, and was extremely patient. He went above and beyond to help me. I was in and out rather quickly as well. Definitely the kind of associate that adds immeasurable value to a team. If you’re looking for the right location… this is the place! 🙏🏾

Mary was so transparent, accommodating, helpful, and patient! She really made my day with her excellent service and attention to detail. I came in just a few minutes before closing, but she still provided optimal service and did not rush me at all. I also love how they are incorporating staff diversity at this establishment!
Decatur location. Eden was very helpful and went through the pretests effectively and explained each machine's purpose. Dr Nguyen was very professional, explained everything and listened to the patient's needs and prescribed what was best for the patient. Mary assisted with the servicing, explained the products, contacts and progressive glasses, and order processing. Very good experience on this visit and the wait time was pretty quick and organized.
I went to America’s Best to purchase new frames only, and unfortunately the customer service was disappointing. I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. While I was looking at frames, I could hear employees talking in the back about customers, and one employee loudly asked, “Is she going to pay for it?” which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. I came in ready to spend my money on new frames, not to be judged or talked about. I also felt pressured toward an eye exam when all I wanted was to purchase frames. My current lenses have a scratch, but I wasn’t there for an exam or additional services. I simply wanted new frames. Customers should be treated with respect regardless of what they are purchasing. I walked in prepared to buy, but the attitude and gossip made me feel unwelcome. I hope management addresses the professionalism and customer service at this location.
Never again. This was the worst experience in my two times of going to America's best. The first time was horrible as well I just figured why not give it a 2nd chance because it's a different location but no. I learned my lesson. My appt was at 1220. I showed up 5 minutes before that and after 10 minutes of being there I realized I should have just left. I have to go to work at 3pm so I had my whole day planned out because the appt shouldn't have lasted no longer than 45 minutes at max. I didn't leave that place until almost 2pm! Why am I there for over an hour just to leave with trial contacts because they didn't have my contacts in stock as the lady told me in my face. The delay was because some doctor weren't accepting eyemed customers leaving only 1 doctor to see everyone. 😒 it was chaotic and I will only be returning to pick up my contacts but other than that I definitely do not recommend if you're needing to get an actual eye exam done amongst other major things. Also I overheard a customer literally telling one of the staff that she could not see out of the glasses they prescribed for her and the staff was telling HER about her vision and basically get used to it! What?? I should of walked out then and saved my insurance money for a better vision place.
