Druid Hills Eye Care

I've been coming to Druid Hills Eye Care for nearly a decade and while I've always been appreciative of their first class offerings and customer service, I truly owe Dr Solomon my life. Previously, my visits were mainly relegated to eye exams and getting my glasses prescription updated. Last year, I was experiencing some temporary vision issues and came in for a check in. Dr. Solomon advised that I make an immediate trip to the ER- advice that most definitely saved my life. As a husband and new father, I'm in debt to the team at Druid Hills Eye Care and would recommend them to anybody looking for vision care

Druid Hills Eyecare balances professionalism with excellent and affable patient care. Their eye exam is thorough and tailored to you. The optician service and quality is top notch. They have several price points for frames. I love my new glasses.

Dr. Solomon is the absolute best doctor I have ever been to. He has helped me improve my vision to the point where I am 20/20 in both eyes when all my previous eye doctors and specialists told me I would never have this level of vision. I cannot express how grateful I am to Doctor Solomon and his team for their patience, commitment to high-quality care, and determination to improve my life in ways I never thought possible. I was born with a cataract and was told it was inoperable. Dr. Solomon disagreed and sent me to the correct specialist, who fixed that eye, which made me eligible for Lasik. I then got Lasik and the other eye, and now within the span of six months I went from not seeing out of one eye and having a -5 prescription in the other to having zero prescription for both, essentially perfect vision in both eyes. Words simply do not encapsulate how appreciative I am. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone looking for a persistent, above-and-beyond, excellent doctor.

I have been here twice to get a regular eye exam with Dr. Solomon. The front office staff are super nice and professional (though their check in system never works properly). However, Dr. Solomon keeps pushing for unnecessary add-ons to sell you on. I get that this is a business, but the salesmanship is stressful. When deciding to go here, make sure to clarify exactly what your insurance covers and prepare to advocate for yourself hard. The staff and doctors seem very competent, but personally I wouldn't recommend this eye clinic.

Dr. Solomon is awesome! I have severe convergence insufficiency and I saw so many optometrists for years who wouldn’t treat it. He gave me prism glasses that changed my life. He also has connections to a vision therapist close by if you also have convergence insufficiency and want to try that. Highly recommend!
