Everyone from the Receptionist, Technician and Doctor were great! The office was clean and pleasant. But Jen really stood as friendly, professional, and exceptional. I highly recommend America's Best in Geneva

I scheduled an appointment for my son at America’s Best after calling ahead to confirm two things: that my son, who is four years old, was old enough to be seen and that they could evaluate for color blindness. I was explicitly told over the phone that this would not be a problem, so I proceeded to schedule the appointment. When we arrived the following day, staff appeared confused about his age and informed me that they typically only see children ages five and older. We were then asked to wait for both the clerk and the doctor to arrive. The clerk arrived approximately five minutes after the scheduled appointment time and indicated she would need to ask the doctor whether my son could be seen. The doctor arrived about 15 minutes late and ultimately told me that she only performs school-age vision screenings and that I should instead take my son to an ophthalmologist. This appointment was a complete waste of time and resulted in my son being late to school. I took the extra step of calling ahead specifically to avoid this situation and was given incorrect information. Unfortunately, no one in the office acknowledged the inconvenience or took responsibility for the misinformation provided.
Great experience! DR Helen was so helpful explaining my retina photos / eye health regarding contact wear that in my years of wearing no DR has ever mentioned! Emily was fantastic at checkout! Super sweet and helpful explaining what insurance covered / did not!
