Always an awesome experience here! Ashley was super helpful with any questions I had about frames and making sure I had the right fit. And Ann has ALWAYS been great at breaking down insurance coverage and making sure I walk out with the best deal. There was a mix up on my chart (for an issue I caused) and they were able to get everything cleared up and taken care of in no time. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Americas best for my whole life and my experiences are usually mediocre at best. This location is exceptional! Doc was great however, Emily is incredible! I Will only be going to this location for the foreseeable future!

The optician that assisted us was friendly efficient and knowledgeable. My biggest complaint is that as a walk in customer to just purchase glasses I was bumped out of my “your next in line” spot to a customer coming out of an on site eye exam.

This review is a long time coming! I wanted to write a bad review years ago due to long wait times for scheduled exams (30-60 minutes of waiting) and lack of consideration but chose not to. I am now choosing to write one so you can avoid going to this location! I’ve been waiting days for a call back about my son’s contacts. The Dr. sold me on expensive contacts that would slow the progression of myopia in his eyes and didn’t give me an exact price in the office so I walked out unsure of costs. Once I sat down with a lady, she told me it was $176 for a 90 pack. I bought them thinking wow that’s pretty expensive but okay, I’ll do it. I figured that was 90 days of contacts, not know it was $176 for 45 days. 40 ish days later I asked my son (11 years old) where are all your contacts and why do you seem to be running out? We realized the 45 day / 90 pack issue in that moment. I brought him into this location and explained the dire situation and said he has only a few days left (before he was left with no vision) and we needed to change to a more affordable brand and also reorder and get trials to hold us over while we waited for shipping. They said they’d have a Dr. call me within two days and there was nothing they could do in the moment and they had no trials to offer us. I got home and called them an hour later and asked if I can just make another appt instead of waiting for a call. They said it wasn’t necessary. So I waited. A guy called me hours later trying to convince me to keep using the expensive brand even we can’t afford it. I said I cannot right now and we need more options. He said the Dr. would call in the morning. Next morning no call. I call at 1 pm and the same guy answered and said once they have an answer the Dr would call me. In that moment, I gave up on them and called the Holland location. Holland America’s Best said come in right now and we’ll give you trials and an appt for more options. Easy. Walked in, got 10 days of trials from HOLLAND, and got him the appt. It’s been days and no one from Grandville has called me. If I didn’t call a different location, my son wouldn’t of been able to go to school and would had been screwed for his baseball games. The people at this location could honestly care less and there is no urgency or consideration.

Such a positive experience at America’s Best! Tiffany was professional, thorough, and so caring. Lisa was incredibly helpful with the financials and made everything easy to understand. The doctor was kind and calming, which made the appointment feel relaxed. Great team all around — definitely recommend!
