It’s my first time to get an eye exam at America’s best. I can’t say enough good things about it. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful, the doctor is very professional and thorough. Pricing is really reasonable and I can give this place 10 stars if there’s an option! They’ll have me as a loyal customer from now on.
Melissa & Tracey were amazing for my daughter and I today! Very very helpful and provided excellent service. There was very quick appointment availability & they taught my teenage daughter how to use contacts for the first time. Great experience!!
Warning About America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses – Waco, Texas My wife and I had an extremely disappointing experience at America's Best in Waco, Texas. We went there in December 2025 and used our insurance benefits for glasses. In February 2026, I returned for contact lenses. I left the office without clear vision and was told it would take a few days for the contacts to adjust. Four months and approximately eight trips later (nearly 50 miles each way), I still do not have clear vision. My prescription was changed repeatedly, but the problem was never corrected. I have worn contacts for 40 years and have never experienced this many problems or excuses from a vision provider. My wife had the exact same experience. Neither one of us currently has vision good enough to safely drive, and we cannot even use a computer comfortably without adding reading glasses purchased elsewhere. We spoke with General Manager Joel Files, but our concerns were not handled in a way that resolved the issue. We requested a refund so we could go somewhere else for proper vision care. America's Best refunded only the deductible and has not credited back the insurance-paid portion. After months of frustration, wasted time, travel, and additional expenses, we are now forced to find another provider and pay again. I LEFT A 1 STAR BECAUSE YOU CANNOT LEAVE "0"
Every one from walking in the door were very nice and unpleasant. I've never been here before , but the eye doctor was very Nice and understood my concerns with having to change doctors after almost nine years with the same doctor. She was very kind & courteous to me.
Excellent, quick experience. China was very fun and kind, Nicole was very patient and helpful, and my optometrist - Tammy - relieved much of my anxieties with her vast experience in her field. Would highly recommend this place to anyone :)
