Would have been 5 stars as our experience was great up until the end. Everything was going well and aside from a bit of a wait (approximately 1 hour+), they seemed to have a pretty proficient system in place. The issue came when after the eye exam, we went to pick frames from the showroom up front. There was a woman seated at a desk near the frames, with whom you get measured and subsequently pay your bill. She kept trying to sell us all sorts of things, which is not the problem as I understand she is probably trained to do so. The issue was that she could not actually explain what any of the add ons where and got visibly upset when we asked her questions or for more details. She became so rude and didn't offer a thank you, just handed us our receipt and kept staring at her computer. I'd expect that employees at an optical establishment to have atleast a minimum amount of knowledge regarding eyeglasses and such. Especially if you are going to try to sell me additional products that raise my bill upwards of a couple hundred dollars. We will definitely get our eyeglasses somewhere else next time.

I had a great experience with both the optometrist and Mary the optician. The eye exam was thorough and informative—the optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions without rushing. I felt confident that my eye health was in good hands. Mary the optician was equally helpful when it came to choosing frames and lenses. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I found something that fit well and suited my style and budget. The whole process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. Overall, excellent service, friendly staff, and a very professional environment. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality eye care. Thank you Mary for your patience.
I live in Brownsville but always make the drive to Harlingen because they have better customer service from the doctors to the store employees. Mary took care of me today and she explained everything in detail and fixed an error on the prescription right away. Will always keep coming back here.
I went in for an eye exam and I had planed to get my glasses somewhere else because I didn’t want wait the two weeks. They had a sale its a frame that you can change the face of the frame and it became sunglasses with a different topper. so sales person reached over and got a frame and I picked the different face and the sunglasses top I paid 189$ I just went to pick them up was given ont the frame. I asked for the other two parts and young lady had to look for face and was told that that promo was single vision . then the man that placed my order, now is telling me that because I used my insurance it does not cover the sunglass face. once again a bad experience with this place
Never have I ever walked in to a well managed eye doctor. From the first step I took I was valued as a customer. Receptionst was able to fit me in as a walk in so I didn’t have to schedule to comeback. She explained the cost and that they waive eye exams when we purchase glasses. Didn’t take to long for my son to be seen. After we were able to choose 2 pairs for 69$ they do also have packages to add to your lenses but I opted out we just needed basic lenses. I was very impressed on how the lovely lady helped us and how satisfied I was as a customer. Thank you all for a wonderful experience I will be returning!
