The secretary and her dirty attitude is exactly why today I will no longer be a patient after years of being here. She is rude and snaps at people and treats them poorly and always has and today I’m done with it.
The receptionist is unprofessional and insincere, and Dr. Fong seems unwilling to acknowledge or address her staff’s ignorance and mistreatment of patients. I respect companies that take accountability, but this office clearly does not. Even a simple apology to a patient seems unreasonable to them. Instead, they attempted to gaslight me by claiming they had given me a courtesy call about my insurance, something that never happened. The call they referenced was from 5–6 years ago, and they failed to verify my insurance either before the appointment or at the time they scheduled my appointment, about a month prior. It would’ve been nice to know I had an insurance issue prior to arriving at the appointment. Not that it’s their fault, but I’ve never had a Dr office not be diligent enough to verify that before letting their patient wait an entire month and show up to have their time wasted. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a doctor’s office. As a physician running a practice, I would expect Dr. Fong to ensure her patients are treated with respect and professionalism, yet that is not the case here. Speaking to her directly confirms to me why her employees are the way they are. Save yourself the frustration. Going to this office is a waste of time. I’m suprised this office even has 3 stars.
My first eye appointment with Dr. Fong was good and staff was professional and courteous. The Doctor walked me through my exam, she was pleasant and witty, answered my questions and interested in my eye exam. I enjoyed my experience, because my appointment was all in one place.
The Dr talks over you and definitely gives off the vibes of “your questions are stupid why do you keep asking things” though she very thoroughly answers them, delivery is a bit off and made my daughter uncomfortable. The office lady Esther, she’s completely rude and fake. Immediately was happy go lucky with another customer then rude as all hell to me when I questioned what all I was paying for. Shes loud and obnoxious with a unique voice and very short mannered. She’s the only one I’ve ever seen in office with the Dr so I’m going to assume she’s very overwhelmed and doesn’t realize she’s rude. I’m taking my kids to another place.
Dr. Anna Fong treated us so well and had so much patience with my son! I have an 8 year old who is on the spectrum and doesn’t always get treated well by health care professionals, but Anna Fong was excellent! She had so much patience with him and explained everything to both of us so well. I am so grateful for her and the services she provided! 5 stars to her and her staff!
