I’m a second-language English speaker, and I went there to discuss one of my medications. Instead of listening to me and helping me with the medical concern I came in for, the nurse practitioner spent time correcting my words and pronunciation. It was honestly wild and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. What bothered me even more was the way she looked at me when I spoke, as if my accent was somehow a problem. I came to a medical office for professional healthcare, not to an English-language institution to have my pronunciation evaluated. As a patient, I expected to be listened to, respected, and helped; not made to feel self-conscious about the way I speak. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I will never go back there again.

I can’t recommend the pediatrics department enough. So thorough, available, kind and genuinely invested in my children. The after hours nurse line and urgent care is also incredible.
My wife went there because she was experiencing terrible stomach pain after being in the hospital for a week. The hospital sent her home and told her to give it time to see if she feels better. She could not take the pain and went to Atrius Health hoping they would give her something for the pain. They did not. Terrible place that did absolutely nothing to help. Do not go here. Dr Robin Gross was no help at all. Their solution was to go back to the hospital and get put back on a morphine drip. Insane. (Insert useless generic response from Atrius Health below).
I have referred my MD to a family member in need of an MD. That person is now a very happy patient.
Atrius Health in Peabody has been my primary care location for many years. I Have always been very pleased with the quality of service and care I receive from my PCP and all of my medical care-givers !! Bill G. Melrose Ma
