had breast reconstructive surgery on March 16 at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody, and I truly cannot express how grateful I am for the entire team who cared for me. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The check-in process with Maureen was smooth and welcoming, and Becky in pre-op immediately put me at ease with her kindness and professionalism. My surgical team, including Dr. Fernandez, Christine, and the entire OR staff, were incredible—skilled, compassionate, and reassuring every step of the way. After surgery, RN Sara, Amanda, and NA Patti continued that same level of outstanding care. Everyone treated me with such respect, warmth, and genuine concern that it made a huge difference in my overall experience. My surgery went better than I could have ever imagined. This procedure has truly changed my life—I feel like myself again, and that is something I will always be thankful for. What meant even more was the personal touch afterward—a card signed by the entire medical staff wishing me a speedy recovery. That simple gesture meant so much and speaks volumes about the kind of people who work there. From the finance department to the medical team, every single person played a part in making this such a positive and life-changing experience.
