I’m new to this area and called to schedule an appointment. I gave them all of my insurance information and was told that my HMO would cover them. They told me they were booked out for almost 2 months. So I waited over a month and a half for my appointment just to get a message from them four days before my scheduled appointment stating that my insurance is actually not going to cover them and they need to cancel! No wonder this place only got a two star rating!

I had cataract surgery by Feder that he screwed up. I had to schedule another surgery with a retinal specialist to fix Feder's mistake. He also did not center the lens which caused me to have severe astigmatism. Aurora cares little about their patients, favoring their doctors.

Eye exam was ok . Have VSP federal employee plan. At mich vision covers exam and about half of glasses. Paid my copay. Week later get bill from aura health new patient exam , photo of eye etc. called vision center they said call billing . Called billing asked why getting-charged twice . Ole Jill was rude like why would u question it. Said would check if billed correctly. That was 5 days ago . Guess she is busy or just more rude. Will drive back to Michigan next yr.

Worst eye appointment I have ever had. The doctor was wonderful but the overall experience was not! I had to return my contact lenses several times because the prescription wasn't right and ended up cancelling the order all together! They only refunded me half saying the return window was too late, WHAT?!?! Not my fault they didn't get it right - 3 times! Never will go back there again!

My previous eye doctor had retired and I was recommended to go to Dr Feder for a prevoous eye issue. After having cataract surgery I could not be more satisfied with he or Dr Hansen. Their front desk staff is very friendly as well.
