I have had glasses since I was 9 years old, never have I ever seen an optical business so incompetent and in denial about a simple mistake. My girl came in to order her first pair of glasses ever. Ordered them with the blue filter and never got the blue filter. (Example: every pair of glasses I own has the filter and you can see it) We’ve went in and showed the staff that the filter wasn’t put on clear as day first hand and the nasty rude “thing” at the desk swore up and down that the blue filter was on there and they weren’t going to do anything about it. So we went down the street to Walmart and asked them if the blue filter was on? They laughed and said there’s no filter on these glasses and showed us multiple ways to prove it. We went back to Bard and talked to “thing 2” “the manager” and she backed her employee and doubled down that the filter was indeed put on there. Even after showing them these tests clear as day. So we laughed and left. Bard texted her to leave a review on how they did and it would go to the owner or store manager I’m assuming. She left a bad review on there and got a call from the store manager ensuring us the filter was put on lol you can’t make this stuff up. I will be also filing a report with the BBB about this and I figured I could at least leave a google review so other people could know. Looks to me people are already aware of your scheme.

They ordered the wrong frames. I was super nice about it, but just said they’re the wrong ones. They were very rude about their mistake. Told me to come in but then just hung up. Go anywhere else.
First time and the staff was wonderful and polite. The lady helping me picked some glasses for me while i got my eyes checked and even picked the one I was wanting plus a few others to try. Had a great appt and new glasses to boot. Thank you!
The ladies here never smile and always seem rude. The ones I see anyway when I come in. Im waiting on disability, currently unable to walk very well..been going through bard optical for years...left my ID at home as im having a hard time thinking due to pain lately...tried to explain. Doesnt matter. Drove on snowy roads almost an hour away when driving slow just to be told no ID no appointment. Most places let you bring it in later or next appointment. No star if possible. Tired of Healthcare and just all. And people who are rude in Healthcare of any sort should just not work this line of work if they are that miserable. Everyone is struggling rightnow. No need for extra bad energy.
How can you make a pair of glasses one year and we have no problem but the next year with the same prescription you tell me it’s because I didn’t upgrade the lenses? I didn’t upgrade last year either. Just because we use state insurance doesn’t mean you can mess up the lenses and not care! The frames were not even straight either!! Very very disappointed in your company. Some people don’t always have the extra money to spend that you want so you mess up my sons glasses on purpose? He’s a kid and should be able to see good rather it’s state aid that pays for it or I pay outta pocket we all should be treated the same.
