Robin and the entire staff were absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure I was taken care of. Robin went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience and that all of my needs were met. It’s rare to find a place with such outstanding customer service and people who truly care about their customers. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you, Robin and the entire team!

Excellent experience for an urgent visit (during normal business hours). I was visiting family in the Cape and was afraid I had a torn retina. Dr. Leavitt and his staff were the best. He was kind and reassuring. I was understandably anxious and he put me at ease and got to work diagnosing, with his state of the art camera and his own experience, a hemorrhage in my eye. He patiently explained why this was not a tear and next steps. If I lived here, I would become a regular patient.
Alan and his staff are top notch in friendliness and accommodation. They care about the customer experience and offer practical advice and options without pushy sales. Alan was mindful of the economics of things and knowledgeable enough to share cost-effective solutions I otherwise wouldn't have known about. "The best view on Cape Cod can be found through Bayview Optemetrics!" --me.
For years I went to Dr. Leavitt, but due to relocation of my job off Cape, I started going for my eye exams closer to work. I’ve since retired and recently went back to Bayview. I forgot how thorough Dr. Leavitt exams were. Back wearing contacts! Selection and service are outstanding.
I'm not sure what else I can say about Dr. Leavitt that anyone else hasn't already said. So instead let me try to address one or two other things that people might otherwise avoid for reasons of their own. The office is an introvert's dream come true. It's small but very cozy and welcoming. The staff are kind and sweet. No one ever makes you feel put on the spot. You will not feel overwhelmed walking in. And Dr. Leavitt is low key and explains everything. Also... no horrible machine that puff air into your eyes. We go to the same gym, so two days after my appointment he caught up with me and asked how my contacts were. When I said, my right eye is a little weird but I don't know if that's a me-thing or a contact-thing, he said we'll keep an eye on it (no pun intended). So when all the other reviews say "he's kind, generous, and cares about your well-being" they really mean it. No more mall optometrists, folks. Dr. Leavitt's the real article.
