I’ve been coming to this office for 15 years. Sometimes my appointment is to see the eye doctor, most times it’s to fill my eye prescription from a previous eye specialist. I can certainly say they have upgraded the options for eyeglasses based on my insurance and that’s a plus! Very happy with my new glasses.
This place is a joke. Do not go in there not sure if the optometrists are licensed for real. My prescription was so off. They took a perfectly fit pair of glasses and replaced them with lenses that were not progressives and expected me to pay for it. When I walked in the clerk was on the phone with an unhappy customer threatening to sue them. Do not go in there. When I asked for a refund they removed the lenses they put on and just left me the frames. Still waiting on the refund?? I’m not sure if there are inspectors for this sorta thing but someone needs to go in there quick! And shut them down if it isn’t a legit optical establishment.
Easily set up an appointment as a first-time customer, all staff friendly and helpful, the appointment was prompt and went smoothly, and there was a sufficient range of frame options and styles to choose from which were covered by my insurance, and staff were patient while I looked through them. Staff also made clear that this is a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ / queer / trans patients, which is greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.
Im not sure where i should start but i have been living in the neighborhood for over 30 years. Shameka is the quintessential professional. She greets every patient/ customer with her bubbly personality and electric smile. She is knowledgeable about all the different brands they offer. So if you're ever uptown and in need of some glasses just stop by because you will not regret it.
