I was seen here for an initial appointment including an eye exam, because they came recommended to me by someone. While the exam went well, what I thought was a professional medical appointment, quickly turned into what felt like a used car lot. I was ignored repeatedly when I said I did not want transition lenses and that I would like my prescription to take elsewhere for my glasses due to financial reasons. She repeatedly ignored what I said and pressured me about how they “have the best glasses” and “we can take a look at your coverage”. I repeated myself at least 4 times that I did not want transition lenses, not only did I not want them, but I don’t NEED them, she said so herself and my current glasses I’ve had for two years do not have transition lenses and work fine for me which she was fully aware of. During her exam I could read up close perfectly fine. I also had to repeatedly ask the doctor, the salesman, and the reception at least 3 times for my prescription.
I don’t expect to be harassed when I go in for medical care. While it’s ok to ask someone if they’d like to take a look at your inventory, it’s not ok to REPEATEDLY ignore a patient’s request for their written prescription and try to add unnecessary/unwarranted prescription to their lenses (highly unethical), while repeatedly pressuring them to buy your products. I could never recommend this place after the experience I had. I’ve been seeing eye professionals and wearing glasses for 10 years and I’ve not encountered something like this before. I won’t be back.
