Bloomingdale Eye Care

Honestly SO shocked and confused by the bad reviews. Recently took my ten year old for her annual eye exam + contacts and everyone was so nice. The whole process was super simple and we received my daughter’s contacts pretty much over night. Both doctors were so professional as well as the girls up front.

I read the reviews and had reservations but they came highly recommended so I went with that and glad I did. I was a slow process unlike the only other place I had been to, but maybe that is what it takes for quality eye care. It was a pleasure working with each person I interacted with during the visit. I can't wait to get my new glasses.

After years of migraines and being told it was hormonal, on my first visit, Dr.Simeon told me it was my eyes. A simple procedure later and I have been migraine free for over 10 years. No other eye doctor ever spotted the problem. They are amazing and care about their patients.

I never had bad experiences with actual doctors but receptionist Barbara is very consistent with being rude and unprofessional as soon as she starts talking. Absolutely unpleasant attitude. Another young female staff is also not friendly and not helpful for instance when you are trying to choose your new glasses. There’s short answers with attitude if you have a question. If you stop by to drop glasses for quick fix she gives ugly looks at you as if you are bothering her. Personally I’m done with that office. Plenty of other options.

This place is pretty good. I have been here twice & the staff is always friendly. Eye doc always makes corny jokes & asks about the Bucs (hence the four stars). Lol No, he is really good & nice.
