Chris Clark is AMAZING! Chris is the most knowledgeable licensed optician I have ever met. He truly is an invaluable asset to Blue Ridge Optical. He is thorough and is an excellent educator. A friend referred me to him specifically, and he did not disappoint. He exceeded my most positive expectations. I went to see Chris because I was dissatisfied with a new pair of glasses I received from a different facility. I was seeing less clearly and sharply as previous pairs I have worn. Chris compared and contrasted lens of a couple glasses and explained why and how they affected my vision. He spent time and spoke in layman’s terms—another plus for not reverting to professional lingo or jargon. Meeting with Chris and learning about lens type and His our eyes with was worth every mile of our two-hour drive from WV.

Incredible selection and kind service from everyone. The optician was very sweet and accommodating while picking out my sons first pair of glasses. We’ve also needed the lenses replaced due to scratches and adjustments and they’re always great through every encounter with them.

I've used their services probably 20 times, and on every occasion Chris and/or Dianne have provided a professional, yet personalized, experience. They are a pleasure to work with.

I love Blue Ridge Optical. We have been coming here for years. They have reasonable prices, always stand behind their products, and help out if we have any issues w our glasses. Unlike other glasses retailers around town, Blue Ridge does not “up-sell” you on every aspect of the glasses purchase. And they choose price-appropriate frames for my kids. Diane is awesome at choosing the right frame for anyone’s face. I HIGHLY recommend Blue Ridge Optical to everyone who asks me, and figured it was about time to write them a review. :)
