After two trips to get my glasses adjusted they were left almost broken on the sides. Staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. I just don’t think they knew what they were doing. I was sad because on one other occasion a few years ago their service was great. What’s happened?

I went here avout 7 months ago, and they said i had enlarged optic nerves, and we didn't need to do any testing. we will check it in a year. Went to vistar is roanoke, and they checked my eyes and said I had glaucoma, and I have also lost a lot of my peripheral vision. Definitely would not recommend this place.
I cannot say enough good things about Kayla Adams, the West Regional Manager at Johnson Curran Optometry Centers. I found myself in a real bind—I was out of town for business and realized I had FSA funds that were going to expire by the end of the week. Kayla stepped in and provided the kind of elite customer service you rarely see anymore. She went above and beyond by: *Researching my past orders to ensure my new pair would be a perfect match for my history. *Personally taking photos of various frame options and sending them to me so I could choose with confidence from afar. *Coordinating everything via phone and mail, including arranging the payment and shipping, so I didn't lose a penny of my benefits. She turned what could have been a very stressful deadline and process into a seamless, pleasant experience. Thank you, Kayla!
The ladies were polite, that's the only "plus". Too long of a story to include everything. The doctor I had was not polite. After a couple of calls, they finally found the my & my granddaughter's glasses...that were somewhere in the back. I, literally, sat and waited for the glasses to be found a couple of times. Then...I had asked them change lenses on 3 other pairs of my glasses, because of the prescription. Well, 1 pair they couldn't (because of the screws), 1 pair they did fine, and the last pair....the screws & arms do NOT match! What in the world?!?!
Sketchy place for two reasons: 1) they offered a $25 service for updating my license that they NEVER did (as of 1 year ago) 2) they advertise affordable frames, but they barely have any to select from (and what's there sucks). The rest are substantially more expensive Additionally, they couldnt get the billing straight with my insurance, this meant multiple calls that burned a lot of time. In short, if you're a VT student, you're out of luck in terms of options
