The customer service at this location is 5 star. The girls that work the desk and help assist you get glasses were very nice. I would travel the 45 mins from roanoke to go again. There was a little bit of a wait but after I realized the reason for the wait, I understood. I would suggest making an appointment for early in the day if you can, the later in the day the longer you will be waiting.

First off, 5 stars for the Christiansburg office. No more Roanoke trip. Staff was great and friendly. Very thorough examine. Good price considering I got two pair of glasses with progressive lenses and the blue UV light filter for the computer and phone. I will definitely continue to come here. **Bonus! Mya checked me out. Got to meet this amazing young lady on her last day.**
I had a very disappointing experience at America’s Best in Christiansburg. The doctor mixed up my concerns with another patient and kept talking to me about headaches that I never mentioned. The appointment felt rushed and unprofessional. The doctor was also very rude and dismissive during the exam. On top of that, the exam was done over Zoom, which made the whole experience feel even more impersonal and disconnected. I did not feel listened to at all. What made the experience worse was the attitude after I decided not to purchase glasses there. The staff became noticeably rude once they realized I only wanted my prescription. Patients should not feel pressured into buying products after already paying for an exam. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, impersonal, and overly sales-focused rather than patient-focused.
Had an appointment at 10. Did not get to the 1st part of the exam until 11:30. I had to leave at 1 before the second part of the exam due to a prior obligation. No one should have to wait 3 hours for an appointment. There were only 2 people there when I arrived. Will not be rescheduling and wasted my time.
Do not recommend people coming here due to the lack of empathy for their customers and do not have an in person doctor. This is my second consecutive year using this business for an eye exam. I had an exam with them May 11th and during the exam they puffed my right eye with air 10-15 times until my eye was tearing up. I felt instant pain in my right eye after this exam. Two days later my eye bag became extremely puffy and a blood vessel was clearly irritated. My right eye was perfectly fine before this exam with them. I experienced the puffy eye for over a week, felt like I had been punched in the eye. There was extreme pressure and could barely bend over because it felt like my eye was going to pop out. Now my eye has formed a stye a week and a half later. This could have been due to unsanitary equipment. I told them about this situation and they told me to go to an in person eye doctor after I just paid a co pay there plus bought contacts from them. A paying customer. There was zero empathy from their staff in person when I went back and on the phone. The receptionist down played my situation by saying “the puff of air is just like having your windows down”. Having my windows down while driving is completely different and she had no empathy. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
