The staff at Eye Care and Surgery are top notch, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They take their time and answer all my questions and concerns. You won't find a better place to care for your eyes.
My opthamoligist retired. I found a fantastic replacement in Dr Jenna Selander. During my first visit in May 2026 Dr Selander and all the staff at Blacksburg Eye Care and Surgery were kind, efficient and I felt they genuinely were interested in my eye health. As a new patient they made me feel welcomed and important. Highly recommend.
This team goes above and beyond. I had multiple issues with my eyes that Dr. Schaubach was able to figure out. Then when the meds I needed were a mess with insurance, this team (Tammy especially) went to bat for me truly beyond what I'd ever expect the doctor's office to do. This is an exceptional practice and I highly recommend them.
I've been a client of of Dr. Olivia Shaubak at Eye Care & Surgery, P.C.for about 10 years. The office and medical staff are very friendly and professional. They provide a very nice, clean and calm experience. I've been treated well at every single visit. When I needed to worked into the schedule when I was in need of priority care - they were there for me. The South Main location is fantastic for Blacksburg residents but they do have other regional offices providing care in the extended NRV+. Parking has never been a problem. The attached optometrist business. Very professional staff by extremely knowledgeable technicians who know exactly how to pair your lenses and frames.
Been coming here for a few years and I love it. I started with Dr. Bradley but when he left I was placed with Dr. Schaubach and she is wonderful. She listens to what you have to say and explains what she found. I love the technicians too. I will keep coming here for a long time. As an added perk, yhe optical shop has a great staff too. There are so many cool glasses to choose from and the prices are amazing!
