A year after purchasing two sets of lenses for my then 3-year-old, her ophthalmologist at Children’s discovered the prescription in her lenses was incorrect. Bothell Vision had the correct prescription on paper and in their system, yet somehow gave us incorrect numbers in her lenses. We paid over $400 for our child to wear an incorrect prescription for a year and Bothell Vision only offered to correct the lenses - something that was free of charge regardless due to warranty. As she was three, and wearing a new prescription, we had no way of knowing her lenses were not accurate. I’m extremely disappointed that my child’s eye progress and healing has been set back and that the absolute bare minimum was presented as a way to correct the error.
Yesterday was my second examination at Bothell Vision Center and I could not have been more pleased. Dr. Salud is detail oriented explaining each step in the procedure before hand, "Now, you're about to feel a gentle puff of air". He answered all questions and gave explanations that were easy to understand. As a diabetic I especially appreciated the explanation of how it is manifested in the eyes. The only recommendation I could offer would be that upon being helped by a lab tech or other personnel they introduce themselves and describe what they are about to do. I feel most comfortable in giving Dr. Salud my highest recommendation.
