I had a very positive experience with my ophthalmologist, Dr David Soltanpour at the 200 Livingston Broolyn NY location. He was professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt comfortable throughout the visit.

Dr soltanpour is professional, knowlagable ,a good listener, he has accurate diagnosis. I appreciate that he spent time on my MOM and Dad as his patients. The diagnosis is so accurate and helpful. He explained completely and professionally. I had 3 different Drs They all accept his result completly.

My experience with Dr Soltanpour was good I dealt he was thorough and friendly. I’ve had some difficulties with his billing person she was rude and very condescending, unprofessional and she needs some people skills. She yelled and screamed at me and canceled my appt because she couldn’t get the insurance information right we had this problem 6 months ago,six months later still having issues but this time she yelled and screamed at me because I was trying to explain the issue. I like the Dr but he really needs to check this woman she’s bad for business. I have to get a new Dr because of her incompetence smh!

i waited for an hour to be seen and then the doctor wouldn’t give me all the tests because it was the end of the day and his assistant had shut off the machines even though i had an appointment and was there on time for my appointment. he gave a prescription that was wayyyy too strong and did not match my eyes at all. he was unfriendly and just generally had a negative and bored demeanor.

Dr. Soltanpour’s rating would also have to include his office staff of just two. Just came from doctor’s appointment with my mom, and while filling out forms being a first-time patient, the last form did not make sense to me because they were asking me to add $50 to a $40 co-payment to receive a prescription for glasses of it was needed. The problem is, I stated to the so-called “professional” who sits at the front desk, that this statement does not make sense because I didn’t know if she needed a new prescription, and it would be unreasonable to pay for a new prescription when one is not needed. I will not know if my mother needs a new prescription until AFTER my mother takes a test. She did not have an explanation, and instead wanted to get rid of the problem. She proceeded to make rude hand motions to me to signal that I should not speak to the technician and her, just her alone. It is only respectful that you speak to the two people that are eyeballing you at the present time. If you don’t know who you’re speaking to, I suggest you do not make a customer’s first impression be less than perfect. Being rude is NOT a prerequisite for being smart. Dr. Soltanpour and his technician are acceptable professionals AND HUMANS in their own right, thank God. I cannot say the same for that one individual at the desk, as she was very condescending. I have studied medicine for 34 years of my life, and I refuse for anybody of her caliber to demean my character. Now you can try to sabotage appointments, and that’s what I would EXPECT you to do, based on the fact that you know this review is based on you, but you can help your situation by showing a little class. I will keep bringing my mother back to Dr. Soltanpour because he is a gifted physician, and my mother is quite satisfied.
