Ive only been to this office 2 times. I was never told that theres no online portal, so when I finally requested my documents the lady tells me theres a fee and I have to drive 30 mins to pick them up - no electronic. They charge you for your medical documents if you dont ask for them the day of your appointment. No sympathy for patients even though they failed to educate this procedure.

My wife and I moved to the Tampa area two years ago and have been gradually establishing a network of medical professionals for our healthcare needs. Recently, we discovered Tampa Lung Specialists. Because we relocated twice over the past five years, I had not yet re-established care for my sleep apnea. After our visit, we feel confident that we’ve found the right place with the team and Dr. Jacques Denis. The staff—especially Ms. Corita R.—made us feel comfortable and welcome from the start. Dr. Denis is knowledgeable, professional, and has a very reassuring demeanor. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was excellent, and we are very satisfied with our choice of Tampa Lung Specialists for my pulmonary care.
“We’ve been trying to contact you” she said. “Your appointment today was canceled.” She verified my number and I asked if she called me. “Yes” was her reply. Nobody called me. Not once. I did receive one text; 12 days earlier; stating that my appointment for “today” was canceled. Since I didn’t have an appointment that day I disregarded it. When I asked the person at the front desk why they sent me the wrong info, and why they didn’t think it was important to telephone me, she said “well, you’re the only one here” implying that this was entirely my fault. As if the waste of time wasn’t enough, this doctor’s office blamed their inaccurate and dodgy communication all on me. I do not recommend this office because of the impoliteness of the staff and poor communication. Just terrible.
Marbelis is a wonderful person to interact with at Tampa Lung Specialists. She is always polite and helpful on the phone. She helped me get out of the terrible service that Apria was giving me for over 2 months. Now I am with Lincare, saw a sleep therapist immediately with them and had a good night's sleep for the first time in I don't know how long I can remember. Apria stole two months of sleep from me. Thanks again for your help. I'm with the right DME Now.
I called to find out if this practice accepted my insurance. "No we don't accept that" I taken off guard at the snappy rudeness of her sentence. I corrected my self and said it's not the PPO but the HMO and got an even ruder reply "No we don't accept Humana at all". In less then 10 seconds I determined I would never go to this practice at all.
