This is the most negligent company I have ever tried to deal with! They wait a year to bill me, don't respond to my ins co. when asked for more info, disconnected me 8 times while I was on hold. They pulled out of my eyeglass store one night and took all of their records with them without ever saying a word to anyone. Do yourself a favor, find out who corporate headquarters are before you see an eye Dr.

This company does the billing for the doctor side at eyeglass world and they have quite the operation going. Both this company and the doctor side of eyeglass world commit fraud by not disclosing fees and over- charge the customer. NINE months later I received a bill in the mail for something I was not made aware of at time of service and funds paid were improperly applied to that fraudulent charge leaving me with a balance owed on the service that I was told I was paying for. The management and representatives at the call center are working with half a brain cell none of which contains any moral compass. The eyeglass world that I had the misfortune of going to for this fiasco has dropped this company because they were terrible to work with according to the girl on the phone at the location. Again, my bill was paid in full the day of service and YOU OWE ME $19 for the misapplication of my funds to your fraudulent charge. BBB will be contacted today and I advise ANYONE with similar issues with either company to do the same.
This company is the absolute worst. They should be shut down. And the unfortunate thing is, writing a review seems futile because no one CHOOSES to go to Global Care Optometry-they are just the billing service behind other optometry services. They owned/did the billing for Eyeglass World, who I loved and had good experiences with for several years. One day I received a bill for services that I'd not only had a year and a half prior, but that had definitely already been paid for, and a notice that it was being sent to a debt collector. Eyeglass World said I needed to call Global Optometry to deal with any billing. It was almost impossible to get through to the company. They have limited hours and the line is always supposedly busy so they ask you to leave a message (which they obviously don't return) and of course they never respond to emails. I finally got a hold of someone, gave the customer service rep the details of my bill, and he was just like "oops, yeah, I see what they accidentally did there." and dismissed the bill. The same thing happened two months later for another visit and I had to fight to have that dismissed as well. It's very scam-like, as if they're hoping people will just pay these "bills" without questioning it. Two weeks ago, I went into Eyeglass World to see if I could have an itemized bill printed out from a visit from five months ago. I needed it pretty urgently to submit to my FSA account for reimbursement. They told me they were no longer partnered with Global Care Optometry, their former parent company, but that when they left they had declined to purchase medical billing records from Global Care Optometry, so I'd have to reach out myself, and gave me an email address specific for billing inquiries. (The fact that we have to PURCHASE medical records? Insane.) Of course no one has responded to my emails in those two weeks and I've been hit with the "large call volume please leave a message" when I call, so I'm at a pissed-off impasse, unable to get my reimbursement literally just because this company can't email me a bill. :)
I have received a bill for services that were over a year ago. I have documentation that the bill has been paid in full. I can not get them to answer the phone or answer an email to get this corrected. I have no idea how to proceed.
Worst company ever to deal with my eye doctor stopped using them and they took all the records with them. I need my prescription ASAP to get new contacts always been able to walk in the store and give them my name but now I can’t since they’re holding my prescription hostage.
