I’ve been going to this eye clinic since I was a child. I remember when Dr. Boerman took over the practice! And over the years she has always been personable and kind. For the last 3 years, I’ve been handed off to different eye doctors. All are cordial but no personal connections or conversations - just a quick eye exam and you are out the door. Today, after 25+ plus years at this clinic, it’s my last appointment. Feels bitter sweet but I truly believe in customer service and making connections with your patients.
We love this place! The eye doctors are very kind and super knowledgeable. Our family has been visiting this establishment for several years now.. A few years ago, my daughter faced a serious eye problem, and one of the doctors went above and beyond to care for our precious girl. We are incredibly grateful for this exceptional practice! Highly recommend!!
Very efficient service. The doctors and staff are excellent. My eyesight has been deteriorating and needed new prescriptions more frequently. After moving to Brentwood, I began with Brentwood Eye Care. This is the first time in years I felt confident in my eye care and advice on what to do. I finished advised cataract surgery. The preparation, diagnosis and follow up by Dr. Boerman and her staff has been first rate. If you want confidence in your eye care visit Brentwood Eye Care.
Made appointment weeks ago. Specifically requested Dr. Boerman. They said they would make it with her. (concerned because another reviewer says they were passed off to another doctor) Requested her again when I arrived. Also mentioned to the tech when I was taken back that I’d like to see Dr Boerman. Side note- Tech scratched my eye when she repeatedly tried to take the pressure. I asked her to maybe wait and see if the doctor would mind not having it done. I was then brought into the exam room. She said “the doctor” would be in in a minute. A young woman came in with her hair covering her name and started asking questions. I asked if she was Dr. Boerman. She said “no” Dr. Boerman was out. When I again told them I had specially made an appointment with her, was told she would be back shortly. I said I didn’t mind waiting. Same doctor later came in and said Dr. Boerman is not taking new patients. I could not see her. I had been at the office over an hour, completed five pages of paperwork, and had seen the tech before anyone mentioned this. Others suggested I write this review, so those making appointments will be aware. Hope it helps someone considering using this practice. The answer below is why I didn't want to leave a review. No one before the appt, at my arrival, or at any time during my visit “made me aware.” I would not have wasted my morning if someone had done so.
