Dr Tan has been providing the same excellent standard of care I was previously receiving from the now retired Dr Bytomski. She has a very pleasant demeanor and takes the time to answer all of my questions at a level of detail I can understand. She proactively came up with a plan to help monitor a condition that may be idiopathic in nature and also brought to my attention an issue that may be benign, with treatment options. I feel very comfortable entrusting my vision care needs to Dr Tan because she is very knowledgeable, thorough and patient. Highly recommend. Note: a staff member whose name I don't recall helped adjust my frames (purchased elsewhere) at no cost and with a smile. Nice.

My first exam at this clinic went very well. Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Tan is a good listener, and had a wonderful bedside manner. I got a new prescription for much-needed new glasses. Highly recommended!

My first eye exam with Dr. Sandler was a positive experience; it made me realize how lucky I was to have been examined by him. Dr. Sandler was friendly and professional. His thorough exam led to an urgent referral to a retinal specialist due to internal bleeding in the right eye that I wasn’t even aware of!! My GP placed me on BP meds after Dr. Sandler’s diagnosis due to hypertension that wasn’t properly treated. I always express my sincere gratitude each time I visit Dr. Sandler’s office for my annual exam. My retinal doctor keeps telling me that I am a lucky person because Dr. Sandler diagnosed my condition at an early stage. Thank you again Dr. Sandler! :-)) I have been a patient at Carmel Valley Visioncare for over twenty years and I certainly would recommend them without hesitation~ the whole staff is efficient and welcoming in every aspect.

I've been a patient for years. Dr. Earl Sandler has taken great care of me and my wife. Staff is always friendly, office is always clean, and appointments are easily made. Living right around the corner from them is also a big plus.
