I've been to this office before when I was a patient of Dr Braims but he left over 2 years ago so I actually was going to go to one of carolina eye care offices closer to me. Well they made a mistake and sent me back to this office again. My dr this time was Dr Paul Herring. I was shocked to hear him say I had cataracts as Dr Braim had never told me this. He explained that it is in my chart but I had a bigger problem at the time with CSR and my retina. Since he knew this about my pryor visits I figured him to be truthful. Now he explained everything about cataracts with visuals and how my eyes get cloudy. He explained everything and fully answered all my questions. He put my mind at ease especially since I got home I realized my sight was getting cloudy, I thought I needed new glasses but the ones I have aren't even two years old yet. So I'm going ahead with cataract surgery because I'd really like better vision and It will be done by Dr Herring. He really put me at ease to go ahead with surgery so he must be good cause I'm the worlds biggest scardy cat when it comes to medical procedures. I'll let you know how it goes.

Every thing went well. The front office and techs were very helpful and knowledgeable. After waiting for my eyes to dilate I was put in a room to see the physician. He arrived about 25 minutes later. I thought that was a little long wait which is why I didn’t give 5 stars.
I was out of the waiting room pretty close to my appointment time. Everybody was really friendly. The surgical assistant delivered a thorough pre-exam. After the doctor examined me, he gave a really clear explanation of what the next step was going to be as far as my surgery. It was an overall excellent experience which is why five stars is appropriate. Plus there was no higher rating available to give.
All the staff members was very professional, and kind during my visit. The process of the surgery was clearly explain to me from the beginning to end which helped to take away some of the anxiety I was feeling beforehand . I was also given information to read which further enlighten me on the process of the growth of cataract and how it forms in the eyes and the many options each individual can consider to do when having the cataracts from their eyes. Great information !!
It was very pleasant because - for the first time in the many years I’ve been going there- wait times - in every phase of the visit- was cut down significantly. Also appreciated not having to be moved from one room to another( except once) for the exam to be completed. Very efficient & enabled me to be in & out in much less time than ever before. Thank you
