Horrible customer service!! Don’t waste your time here at all, whoever is in charge of texting does not know how to reply to patients at all. Went about a year ago and decided to text them now asking for my Rx. They said yes they’ll send it over but proceeds to say “You do know your prescription expires in 9/26?” Then, I proceeded to let them know that I am aware of it and sent them my email address. Which I got the response “Yes that’s where I sent it.” First, like I mentioned above, yes I am aware that’s why I’m reaching out because I lost my Rx paper that they gave me and I’m schedule to go to another clinic so I would like to see if my vision has changed or not. Second, I myself work in customer service and would never respond to a patient over text in such manner! A simple “Yes, I sent the email a couple of minutes ago please let me know if you receive it!” would’ve sufficed but no. What if I had updated my email address or never knew they sent it over already? Even if it’s two or three texts that were sent, you can feel the condescending tone whoever was typing that had. They definitely need to have more training because it’s unacceptable!

SCAMERS! Read all the fine print before your exam. I called days before my scheduled appointment to ask if they accepted my insurance. I was told I would only have to pay a $10 co-pay. I get there complete exam with less than friendly staff, sent over to try on glasses with a really pleasant gentleman who gave me my total for the day which ended up being over $100 dollars. I was charged for a fancy life exam on my eyes that I didn't ask for but apparently is hidden in email. Then charged a crazy amount to be fitted for contacts when I have normally paid less for a complete visit with no vision insurance at a different location. I thought I would support the area instead of driving out North. I wouldn't recommend this facility for any exam. However they do have a great selection of designer frames. Nice and clean mask required, just overpriced and not worth it.

The staff here is top notch. Been here many times and moved 1 hour away tried a local eye doctor and it was not what I was used to. They were nice but we're trying to just charge me whatever they price was without doing a proper insurance check. I drove 1 hour back to cedar hill eye care and it was well worth it!! They double checked my insurance and the nice lady that sets up the order told me 2 separate times that she was going to check again cause she wanted me to get the best deal. This place is awesome!! Thanks doctor O./ staff!!

My husband and I picked up our glasses today and we were very satisfied. The staff have been wonderful. I love my designer frames.

Thanks for your help today, Dr Obana! I really do appreciate it so much. I have always been so resistant of all types of doctor visits, eye visits included. Todays visit was a really great overall experience. The technology at your office and your knowledge/expertise was really impressive. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall patient care from the second I walked in the door, all the way to my final exit. I highly recommend Dr Obana!
