The front desk staff needs classes in customer service. They are quite rude and not professional. I waited for approximately 3 minutes while 2 staff members were discussing personal issues. The person who did the initial testing was pleasant but didn't introduce herself which in my opinion is an essential part of customer/patient care. I saw Dr Melissa Frank. She gave exceptional care. She introduced herself and told me what was tests she would be doing and why. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I will return to the practice because of Dr Frank and hopefully the front desk staff have changed their attitudes or new staff is there.

My husband and I, new patients, had back to back appointments today. Since we were unfamiliar with the area and the address we called several times on the way to alert them that we would be a few minutes late, but their terrible voice menu system didn't give any opportunity to speak with a human. We were exactly 9 minutes late and I was told that I would have to reschedule in September. Really? When my husband was there and had the very next appointment? The staff member was impolite and unconcerned. I have never been treated with such disregard in a professional practice. The one benefit of their rudeness is that we will never have to visit this practice again. Others need to be aware this practice is not patient friendly!
I have gone here for many years. Parking and location is easy, which is helpful. Dr Avery and staff are very nice, and I’m confident with my care and treatment. Check-in could be easier, but I know staffing is an issue at most offices currently. I was in and out quickly and had clear expectations and answers.
I have been seeing Dr. Avery for several years and his care is excellent. His staff is top notch as well. I always feel welcome and that each person in the chain cares about my well-being. I know others have expressed dissatisfaction with wait times and billing, but I have never experienced any of those. I have been 100% satisfied and will continue to use this practice.
If I could give this office a negative rating I would. Called to see when my appointment was and was then told that I have an outstanding balance of 200$ back from 2022 when I have been seen every single year. Not once was this balance mentioned when I’ve gone in since for appointments. While paying extra out of pocket in order to get a prescription for my contacts (an extra 50$ to get it) Apparently it got sent to collections in janurary. Called the billing office for them to tell me it’s from a date back in 2022. But then Proceeds to say I have a 65$ credit on my account they can apply to my 200$ balance. HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENCE? It doesn’t. This office is a joke. They won’t see me till the balance is paid in full in which I would’ve taken care of last year at my yearly appointment had I been made aware. Awful customer service
