Dr. Chevy Lee is a wonderful ophthalmologist! He will usually start out the visit being very quiet and brief, but this is not rudeness. He is focusing on the patient's chart and history, which is exactly what a doctor SHOULD be doing at that point. If you start a conversation with him at an appropriate moment, he is quite friendly and nice. The biggest thing that stands out to me is the time when I had gotten hit below the eye with a falling piece of heavy luggage. A few days later, I began to get "flashes and floaters," which is a big red flag. I called Dr. Lee and he got me in to have him look at it IMMEDIATELY -- within the hour! As soon as he saw I had a little retinal tear, he picked up the phone himself (not a nurse or receptionist) and got me in THAT AFTERNOON to a retinal specialist, who was able to repair the tear quickly with a laser. THIS right here is what excellent medical care should look like. Short wait times, comfortable waiting rooms and friendly receptionists are nice, but not so necessary for your health. So I give Dr. Lee five stars -- I'd give 100 stars if I could!

Most awful experience I have ever had. I will not be returning. Dr. Lee was rude and aggressive. Grabbed my head to stay still aggressively when I hesitated. He did not explain one thing about what he was doing. He just barked orders “ OPEN YOUR EYE” “ STOP MOVING” “HEAD BACK”. While explaining nothing. Just orders. I left not knowing anything. I didn’t even want to ask because I was so uncomfortable, I wanted to get out of there. Please do not go here. He was aggressive and had a bad attitude. Very demanding to his staff as well. They had to yell at him to wait because he was demanding them to his side at the snap of his fingers. Hostile environment. As a young girl, I felt very uncomfortable. Please stray away.

I've been using Dr Lee for a few years now. He did me cataract surgery on both eyes. Cannot argue with the results. He has a no-nonsense approach, tells it like it is. He's there to do a job, and he does it extremely well. You can tell he is very knowledgeable. If you treasure your eyesight, make an appointment. If someone is cutting into your eyes, you want to make sure he's competent. Dr. Lee is very competent.

To my disappointment, Dr. Lee has absolutely no bedside manners. Regarding his eye exam, he does no provide much information. Hard to communicate with him. I cannot say if is knowledgeable or not since he does not share much. He does gets annoyed with patients that have a difficult time going through when light is shined into eye. I should have learned from my first visit 2 yrs ago but this 2nd time proved that I will be looking for someone else for the next time.

My wife and I were referred to this doctor by a friend. Things were okay until it was time to dilate my eyes. Unfortunately, I was doing my best to keep still during the procedure, but he got really annoyed and was getting angry at me, which I didn't appreciate. Looked so unprofessional, I should say, and it left me feeling embarrassed and violated. Treated my wife about the same too. We were able to get our prescriptions at least, but when it comes time for our next eye exam, it won't be at this place! Very very disappointed with the service.
