Had a good experience at Chinatown Optical on Mott St. The exam was thorough. What stood out was the attention and expert guidance in selecting a pair of frames, addressing what I needed in this new pair of glasses, “computer glasses”. Lastly, the frame and nose pad were tweaked so it fits well. I haven’t had such clear vision for years! Appreciate the staff at Chinatown Optical. Thank you. -Lily J
Won’t recommend. Last November I paid $299 for frame。 Frame is light and pretty. $100 for lens.adjusted twice. Didn’t work. My eyes are not comfortable wearing them. But I decided to give them up. After first use, I realized it’s the optician s not good enough. I couldn’t see far or near clear wearing them. Went back to adjust twice. Optician still failed. They only think about what s cheaper. I used to get glasses at Vision world in Rego park queens. The optician is a blonde lady she s awesome. She gave me perfect lens that I enjoyed 5 yrs. Great for seeing far or near and my eyes were very comfortable like no glasses lens at all. It was $300, It’s a pity I lost them while shopping. Btw, In Chinatown optical, The staff Kelly is good enough. The other guy is funny he called me auntie. It’s not professional. I guess he has only worked in Chinese places.
I recently had an outstanding experience with Chinatown Optical and wanted to share my praise for their incredible service. Even though I live out of state, the entire process was seamless and efficient. I purchased two Chrome Hearts frames along with blue light lenses, and their team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience feel personal and effortless. Their collection of Chrome Hearts frames is absolutely amazing. Every step, from selecting frames to final delivery, was handled with professionalism and care. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and it’s clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. Chinatown Optical has earned my loyalty, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for premium eyewear and impeccable service!
Amazing place!!! Thank you Vara for going above and beyond to help me and even helping me print a label for a package. So kind and I will be returning for all glasses related needs :)
