Horrible experience took my 14 yesr old to the e.r for pain in her lower chest, stomach, lower back and ribs. We got check into the waiting room at 720 with a 2 to 3 hour wait. As we sat there she threw up and and taking a little nap. We get called back to check her vitals then sent back to the waiting room with now a 4 to 6 hour wait. The wait time hour kept changing. Finally about 11 pm the main lady that was running everything said we should be next. We discussed, we were kind of wondering, because a ton of people had went before her.And was told that it goes by urgency and not the time you get there. How do you know how urgent it is?If you don't even know what's going on with the patient? After about another hour, I went up to the Reception desk and asked to talk to the lady in charge to find out she left. I was told that they are cleaning a couple rooms that had just opened up that I would be the next person. Within 5 minutes, 2 more people got called ahead of my daughter, and then her. So now its been 5 hours before we had even seen a dr. They give her nausea medicine, she wasnt feeling sick at that point. After a quick test we figured out what it was gave her some antibiotics and a drink some crackers to make sure she could hold it down and we were on out way.. i did notice that the urgency seemed to be that the kids were younger than my daughter. They got to go back before her. Some went and had their vitals checked and never came back out to the waiting room. They went straight to a room because you could see how many patients are being taken care of on the screen. 3 to 4 teenagers came in looked to be 13 to 16 and they took all of the younger kids first. So if you have young adults that are needing to be seen, I do not recommend this location. They will have you waiting for hours.

My son was inpatient at this location after being transferred from main campus after a year there. We have now been here since January. Multiple items of my sons have come up missing. I highly recommend not bringing anything of value or as little as possible. Staff is not held accountable and the bare minimum is done. No accountability and the standards that the staff is held to is beyond disgusting. As a single mother replacing items was not on my hospital stay to do list. Take pictures of all of your belongings, write your child's name inside of all clothing and on blankets, toys and accessories. Because another child will have your child's belongings. I also advise stating to not let staff wash or remove items from the room without your permission or presence. To be the #1 Children's Hospital and running up a tab near the millions on each child. I'm beyond disgusted with the $75.00 worth of donated amazon gift cards. That was given from a donor to cover their staffs negligence, disgusting. Furthermore, their so understaffed. I'm sure they can't even afford to address the incompetent staff members it's truly sad.

I came in with my six month old They have you in the waiting area for over four hours unless you come in, in dire need of care, they will have you sit and see other families that’s came in after you, you are seen at their discretion, very poor service. I recommend going to a different hospital for the emergency department!!! 6 patients but a four hour wait… I’ve been in the waiting area since 9:30am and it’s currently 1:30pm

Came here for a scheduled ENT visit. Parking was easy even with the major construction, staff happily helped navigate the building, and there was no wait time at all even on a busy weekday. The doctor (von Allmen) was also good, attentive, and glad to answer questions. Overall good experience for this visit.

Yesterday we went to the emergency room at 10 PM with my 2-month-old son. His pediatrician had discovered an inguinal hernia and referred us to a urologist, but unfortunately the appointment was scheduled too far away — on August 19. By the evening, my baby became fussy and started eating poorly, so we decided to go to the nearest emergency room to make sure everything was okay. The registration staff received us well — thank you for that. But I’m deeply disappointed that from 10 PM to midnight, not a single doctor came to see my baby. We waited for two hours with a tiny infant, and no one checked on him. I honestly don’t know what to say. This kind of attitude toward a little baby is heartbreaking
